Explain before you ask dude. Not many people on here going to hedge a $44 bet. Not being a jerk, just laying it out there for you

Irregardless of the amount of your wager......it is irrelevant. $44 bucks might be alot to one person and peanuts to another. It shouldn't affect the advise you are asking for.

You made this play with the intention of winning. You got half of it covered. Now you are waiting for one game with a lopsided point spread in your favor. It's exactly what you were hoping for.....don't change it bro. Good luck to you :toast:

So. Cal
i love it

hedging a $40 two team teaser.

crap, why bet in the first place?

in fact, why not hedge ever single game bet at halftime?

if you lost 45% of your "bankroll" in week one, there are bigger problems than hedging a two team teaser

in the end, to answer your question.....NO dont hedge.

cb going to give ya some honest and well intended advice.

number 1 there is nothing wrong w/a $1,000.00 bankroll..in fact the number can and should be lower[not saying you fit this catergory of player] for millions across this country who piss away their money thinking they are some kind of capper when in fact they belong to the 99% who get their brains beat in season after season of College and Pro Foots.[note the number of forums and their members who never keep an up to-date record of their units won and lost..Reason being they are losing.

Bankroll should be based on what one can afford to lose with the notion that with MONEY MANAGEMENT one can produce a profit and or limit losses for an enjoyable sports gambling season.[This of course doesn't apply to those professionals who do this for a living or to add to the retirement fund.Of course those guys can be seen on TV or heard on the Radio giving away winners every friggin' day of the week..:mj07:

Suggestion..recalculate your bankroll and make the adjustments to the future exposure of it..ie never over expose and recalculate before and after each gambling session. This will eliminate the dropping 40% of ones bankroll completely.

Sports wagering should be fun with the idea it is entertainment..no different than going to a game or taking in a movie..

Sides ..Totals..Teasers..pleasers..parlays..middle's..it doesn't matter as long one uses MONEY MANAGEMENT and have a blast with it knowing it's entertainment.

Best of luck to ya this and every season..

I've been there too. You hit a losing streak, you just want to cash and live for another day. I give you credit for being honest. There are some people who bet 44 to win 40 but will bs and say they bet 440 to win 400.

Bottom line is to stay in the game with your bankroll and not having to make another deposit.

Good luck

Tee Mo and Old School said it all pretty well. I actually respect you for saying you wagered just $44. I suspect that there are more than just a couple of guys on here that toss around big numbers that in reality are not betting any more than you. Like old school said, you'll notice that many are not keeping a record and that says a lot in itself. Hell, if I'm losing my ass I still put it up there so others will know that I've been running cold and they should be a little cautious if following. I see it as an obligation.

Anyways, I wish you the best and over a long period of time hedging really only makes sense if you are looking at a huge payday. Then you can at the least pull your initial investment back.

thanks again, i let it ride and hopefully the team i hate the most can mount a comeback. a unit to me is 20 bucks, not a whole lot to some. but= to 5% of my bankroll. by the way took fsu -3 1 unit for sec half:toast:
