Although an MRI on Oswalt's back revealed disc degeneration and a slight bulge on his L5 vertebrae, he expects to start Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

he pitched 2 innings last start and gave up 10 hits..:nono: .and hes on the road..and this is a shit time of year in the mlb....i would tread lightly but def a nice trend to back u... GL

I haven't watched one second of baseball since football started/pre-season, thanks for the info, I have already bet the game. 23-1 is as good as it gets against one team, I will take my chances

Oswalt was hit hard last game vs Atlanta last Thursday and he clearly had some signs of pain during the outing.
He struck out 5 in two innings of work so his stuff was pretty good.
Problem is his fastball was clearly down and left stuff over the plate and got hit hard giving up 10 hits in those 2 innings.

I thought the line would be lower and would take a chance on that record vs Cicny but my lean is towards Cincy right now with those odds.

Berkman does tear Cincy up and hits Wells hard to boot.
Berkman career 140 games vs Cincy with a .328 avg with 47 hrs, 130 rbis.
Vs. Wells Berkman is 12-38 .316 with 4 hr's.

Just think Oswalt is a big risk with injury right now.
