NFL: 4 - 2

TENNESSEE -7 Texans are dismal without Schaub who is listed as proabable. Even if he starts, the ankle is still in bad shape and he will be no match for the Tennessee defense.

NEW ENGLAND -3.5 It's hard for me to look past the obvious......Super Bowl MVP Brady only a field goal favorite over rookie Sanchez. I don't see the Patriot offense sleep walking thru a game two weeks in a row. I don't see Sanchez having two big games in a row, especially against the Patriot defense. New England will throw looks at Sanchez he hasn't seen before and will pressure him throughout. Brady takes this one to the bank.

MINNESOTA -9.5 I'm not convinced that Detroit is any better than they were last year. Maybe slightly better on offense. Minnesota can go to the Super Bowl. Saints put up 515 yds for 45 pts last week on them. I see the Vikes doing alot of the same. Watch the Adrian Peterson show.

ATLANTA -6 Everyone talks about Matt Ryan and the Atlanta offense......which they should. Who doesn't get enough credit is the Atanta defense. Carolina is already a little banged up. I don't see them scoring 14 against the Falcs. This could be a good spot for an under play as well, but I'm gonna stay with my side.

ST. LOUIS +9.5 I know, I know. The Rams looked pitiful last week and have for the last couple of years. This is a team on the up swing though. With their new coach Spagnualo, it's not "if" they are going to be good again it's "when". The Rams always seem to match up well against the Skins and I look for Jackson to have a big day on the ground agains them. Look for a very inspired defensive effort as well. 9.5 points is just to much chalk to lay here.

JAX -3.0 Here's the deal. The Cardinals won the weakest division in football last year to get in to the playoffs. Yes, they put together a magical run there to get to the Super Bowl, but outside of that, they simply are not that good, as evidenced last week. The Jags are physical and will get after Warner, who is listed as probable for the game along with Boldin and Breaston. Jags should get an easy cover at home.

That's it for the morning plays fellas. Good luck today. I'll be on at halftime for some afternoon picks :toast:
