Boise St. -15.5 BGSU--While I like what the new coaching staff has done at BG, I don't think they are good enough defensively to keep this one within two TD's.

Tennessee -20.5 Ohio--
See my comments below.

Akron +17 CMU--
Too many points for a conference game against a solid program like Akron.

Miami +9 Kent St.--
The market (and more importantly, Spang) agree with me on this one. No way should the Flashes be laying more than a TD to anyone.

Arkansas St. -1 Troy--
My track history with Arkansas St. is not good but I think their offense will win this one. Leonard and Arnold seem like they have been playing for about 7 years for ASU and should have some success against Troy's defense.

Wow, I looked over the entire board and first landed on the matchup featuring arguably the collective two poorest teams.

Give me some of that Redhawks +9 as well.

They actually demonstrated just enough offensively in the 2nd half of the Western game to give me hope that they can cover the number. Kent should not be laying this number to anybody, including the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders.

I will wait to see the status of CJ before moving one way or another on the Akron game but that is an awful lot of points for the conference opener.

I would consider BG if it floats up past 17 and it might. I supect that you were probably wise to grab the early offering on Boise.

OU sucks ( again ) It just depends on how much the Vols want it and who's on deck. I have not checked yet. But a nice under play could be a good back up wager or could be used in a parlay or tease. I seriously doubt that OU will find the red zone.

Enough rambling,

Michigan/Indiana O52.5--Wolverines have definitely improved their offense, but their defense continues to struggle. I think IU's QB is kind of a turd, but he should find enough holes in Michigan's secondary to put some points on the board.

Ohio/Tennessee U44--Bobcats have shaky running game and Tennessee's rush defense will make it look worse. With very few (if any) sure wins on the schedule, Vols should be focused for this one.

Akron/CMU U51--UA knows it can't get into a shootout with the Chips. Hopefully, Rodgers plays better this week and is content to "manage the game."

Better yet...will the folks at 5Dimes realize the game is at 6:30 instead of the 8:00 list time that they have up on the board??

I got two Friday night high schools teams tonight:
Brown +8.5 at Harvard in Ivy kickoff tonight.

I am listening to broadcasters from a Boston am station airing the game and they sound like Click and Clack, the Tappet Bros.

Of course they didn't...Highland was up 2-0 at half, so I played them +19. What a great country...whatever country they might be in!
