Michigan State +2.5 over Michigan - I thought we would get three points but it isn't to be. I grabbed it right away because MSU will be favored by kickoff...not that it will matter much. Many reasons for this...Forcier is probably hurt from the looks of things. This is the first road game for a young Michigan team. This is also Sparty's bowl game. Dantonio has put an amazing amount of effort into making this the be all, end all for MSU. This is their bowl game too because they would need to go .500 in the Big Ten to become eligible.

Auburn +2 over Tennessee - Tennessee is still hampered with far fewer athletes than most other SEC schools and Auburn has found its niche this year.

Bowling Green -2.5 over Ohio
- OU gave Tennessee a game, but that isn't saying much. BG gets bombed by Boise, but a lot of teams will have that happen. Thus, we get a good line for the Falcons at home to start MAC play.

Agree strongly with BG but seriously doubt that Sparty will be favored. Richrod and the Wolves are drawing a lot of ink, they will get some backing. Not saying Sparty does not win or cover because you were right, that Michigan D is pretty soft.

Well put. Crompton is not a good football player. This being Aub's 1st road test is a point of concern for me though. GL this week:toast:

I cannot believe the Vols are favored in this game. I was expecting the line to be somewhere around Aubrun -3 or 4.

Here is my take - I think the Vols beat either Auburn or Georgia. They will get azz raped by Bama and October will be rough altogether.

Crompton is horrible, but Auburn has been giving up points, so if the Vols can get anything out of the running game, it could make things interesting.

Scary line because me thinks the world will be on Auburn:shrug:

FYI, Forcier is playing.

Also fwiw, don't see MSU as the play here.

I hope Sparty isn't the right side, and I would love Michigan to get a road win this week since the following week looks tougher by the minute; however, road chalk with a bad defense scares me.

Also, I see now that the game is already at a pick'em.

Toledo/Ball State over 60.5 - Neither team will show any interest on the defensive side of the ball, so this number could get shot down early.

Florida State -3.5 over Boston College - Look at the teams that have beaten FSU. Quick, athletic teams that can come at it from different angles at a really quick pace. Look then at BYU. Does Boston College look more like Miami and South Florida or do they look more like BYU?

Michigan +3.5 over Michigan State
- Ok...I'll bite. Play for the middle.

Wisconsin/Minnesota over 53 - This is traditionally a high scoring affair and I don't see either defense getting in the way of this being another shootout.

Clemson -12 over Maryland
- This line has dropped down and even though I hate to lay chalk on the road, I don't see then venue mattering much in this one. Maryland is bad.

Forgot one...

Miami under 22.5 Team Total - A lot of folks see Miami keeping this one close and covering the spread...they might be right. But if that is going to happen, then they are going to keep it close by keeping the score down because the Oklahoma defense is not suddenly going to give up chunks of points.
