Carolina Panthers thoughts (come chime in)

Ok....here's my two cents on tonight's game.

I'm obviously hoping that the Panthers decide to show up tonight, but here is my concern. As soon as something goes wrong, the wheels just completely fall off for this team. I've always been a big Jake Delhomme supporter, but he's starting to test even the most patient of people. So rather than take the Panthers +9 or whatever you can get.....I think the best play tonight is on the Panthers + the points in the 1st half. They've shown the ability to score early touchdowns in both of their first two games. It's not until later in the game when this team starts to unravel. Everyone here in Charlotte understands tonight's game is a make or break game for this team. Starting 0-3 is death...so I'm sure the fight will be there early on. It's just the sustainability that I'm concerned with.

tough i like the reasoning behind your pick, i see this one as a DEFENSIVE effort by both squads, even more as this games have been mostly OVERS (14-1-1) and that will make bettors and books put a hefty large number on this OV/UND first half
in my book started at 24 but i think it will rise to 25+ by game time, so i may wait till then to parlay Carolina +6 and UNDER 25 for first half risking 300 to win 780

I could totally see the under being the right call, but the way these two teams turn the ball over, easy scores could really screw the under.
