i thought you said yest i was getting it back today?

another day. nothing changes

another loss at the 2 second mark

that's 4 in the last week, with no wins to offset that "bad luck"

I feel your pain. I needed a late TD by Louisville to win my teaser... figured another last second td would never happen 2 nights in a row... of course it happens in the other game.

As others have pointed out...not sure either were truly bad beats. Yes, it happened in the last few seconds. If you are only focusing on having a cover and getting it taken away, then yes. Looking at the game as a whole, backers on the other side of these would say it was justice. The point being...everyone's perspective is heavily biased toward the team that they layed their $$$ on.

I feel for you, for sure. This sports wagering gig can be ridiculous at times. Here's hoping you have a huge day of winning coming your way tomorrow.

Just little bull shit things happen............last night
CU is forced to go for it on 4th down on their own 15........4th and 3 no less.......dont make it which enables WVU to score fast

Then tonight Utah St just happens to have a time out left ith 9 seconds left in game......no time out no time for touchdown...........

Just Nuts............

I would not even be complaining but it sure seems when I need a TD on the last play of the game I never quite get there.........

exactly

when i'm in the same position....my team fumbles the first snap of their last drive.....dont get a first down....throw a pick.....run the ball and the clock out

despite what you say or see i define bad beats by what happens in the last 90-120 seconds of a game......and air force, niners ml, wvu, byu were all shit burgers in decending order of having an easy cover to nice win to last second win to none of the above.

Even Carolina monday night........the only time in the game when I am ONLY asking for a 3 and out QB throws a pick 6..............if Delhomme does what he does all night ......goes 3 play and Car would have punted with 5 minutes of less left in the game down 6

We've all been there...

We've all been there...

I've also taken some stupidly bad beats the past few nights. Obviously, the worst thing you can do is chase, and yes, I've done a little of that too. Stupid. But here's something that I've fallen back on in tough times in the past.

Aside from the usual "scale back" etc etc advice that we all hear...I've actually found some success in doing ML parlays with really confident favs in the 10-16 point range. For example, I'm looking at NC/ND/VT ml parlay for tomorrow. $30 pays 20 at my offshore. In the NFL last week, I did this with Philly, Balt, GB. This week in the pros, I'm looking at Chi, SF, and maybe Indy or NO or even Tenn.
Maybe even just a two-team ML par on Chi/SF. That would only be 2:1 but you gotta like both at home straight up.

There are times when you feel like you just can't pick a winner ATS and this is my fallback. Just a suggestion, but it's helped me to "cool off" in the past and feel like I'm taking a little more control over my action. Plus, by the very nature of the plays, it limits my action. Hope it helps.
