over the last 16 games, ucf is averaging less than 290 ypg of offense & 17 ppg....
over the last 3 seasons ucf is 8-0 under in home games versus poor defensive teams - allowing >=5.9 yards/play.....
over the last 3 seasons ucf is 9-0 under in home games after the first month of the season....
west is 12-3 under off a home loss as the coach of memphis....
under 46 fla. st. / bc....
bc ranks 18th in the nation in total defense 7 they are getting healthier....
since 1992 fla. st is 12-1 under after playing 2 straight non-conference games....
under 47 vt / duke....
since their opening game loss to bama, the vt defense is allowing an average of 10.5 ppg....also since 2007 vt's acc games have gone under the total....i think after their big win over miami, i think vt will be sluggish in this game,& this usually shows up in the offensive performance....

decided to make a play in tonight's game....
under 59 so. miss. / uab....
so. miss. is shorthanded with various injuries, including to 2 of their top offensive players in running back fletcher(out with a groin injury) & wide receiver brown (out with a shoulder injury)....in addition uab will also be without 2 of their top recievers....the uab qb(webb) is more effective as a runner than a thrower as he is completing about 53% of his passes....so. miss. is holding opponents to just 64 ypg defending the rush & 1.8 ypc....
some trends....
since 1992, so. miss. is 17-5 under in road games in the first half of the season....the average score was so. miss. 18.5, opponent 20.7....
over the last 2 seasons (all under this present coach), uab is 8-1 under in weeks 5 through 9....the average score was uab 19.0, opponent 33.8....

decided to add another play....
under 45(125) miss. / vandy....
so far this year vandy's offense has looked good against horrible defensive teams like w. car. & rice....but against the 2 sec opponents that they have played, they have been under-whelming....gaining 210 yards of total offense against lsu & 157 against miss. st....that averages out to 3 yppl....& they should struggle against a very good miss. defense that's been 0.5 yppl better than average so far this season while giving up 12 ppg....
on the other side of the ball, miss. potent offense has been a disappointment so far this year by averaging only 0.1 yards per play better than average in their first 3 games & were held to just 4.0 yppl & 10 points by so. car.'s defense last week....& in that game the miss. offensive line had problems slowing down the so. car pass rush....they should also have problems handling vandy's pass rush that is averaging 3 sacks per game....& in addition vandy has a very good 2ndary that is ranked #3 in the nation....
imo miss. will try to offset the vandy pass rush by running the ball, because vandy allows 5 ypr & i think that vandy is aware that they can't get into a shootout with miss., so i think they will slow the game down & play field position....& all of this should eat up the clock....i hope...lol....
