70%+ on Twins. I am seeing 9 out 10 posters on the forums on Twins. Now this Miguel Cabrera police crap which is giving Twins backers even more ammo. This will be last MLB season in the DOME. So I am gonna start digging.

Porcello:

For the season Porcello was 14-9 (pretty good) decent ERA 4.04 decent Ratio 1.35
Twins hit Porcello, even without Mourneau (1 for 4 lifetime) overall the current Twin roster is 27 for 90 (.290) and reach base often (.343 OBA)
Interesting stat, Joe Mauer is only 1-9 against Porcello (.111) while Jason Kubel owns him (8-11 .727)
He started against the Twins 4 times this season, going 1-3, however even though he lost his last 2 starts against Minnesota in the past 2 weeks, he has been very effective in losing. 3-0 and 3-2.
Got lit up in May, but he has matured in teh last 5 months.

Baker:

Had the better season, but not demonstatively better.
Had a 15-9 record. (solid)
Had an average ERA 4.36, however had a very impressive 1.19 ratio.
Struck out twice as many hitters as Porcello, which is important in a one game play-in, (obviously to score you need to put the ball in play.)
Like the Twins with Porcello, the Tigers hit Baker as well. Currently this Tiger lineup is 77 for 266 lifetime (.289) however the ration isn't bad (.325 OBA against) Has started aginst the Tigers 4 times this season, going 1-1 with two ND's, and not looking good in either one of them.

Still on the Vikings win high.. Look at Baker's first 6 games he pitched.. Came of injury and just got hammered.... Skewed his stats.. Settled down nicely.. My advice, don't bet the game and just watch.. I like Baker to win but too big of chalk for me to bet. Plus I am a Twins fan and just will be happy for the win if they get it

THUNDER. I could not agree more with you. Not sold on a play on the Tigers just getting a bad feeling seeing all of the detractors and now distractions. Majority on Twins line not moving at all. If i take a wager on the Tigers it will be because I am going against everything that looks too good to be true.

I like the under 8.5

I am pulling for Minn to win, my friend at work is from Minn and keeps up with the Twins every year. Too big of favorite to bet them tonight so under it is.

And all those people that waited for DET +1 miillion or +170 are gonna end up -100 for each hundo risked...

Whatever you say Bound. My point like you always say I posted info. Thunder said gave me his info which was wrong. The line NEVER opened at -150 and closed at -170 to -180. It opened -160 and closed closer to -150 with majority on Twins. I have no money invested because I did not want to ride the rollercoaster this game. I knew it would be tight. I also knew Det would win 1st 5. Its just another game to me. So I will cheer for your Twins game bet to win because you have alot of open plays riding on it. Good Luck brother.

Game could have went either way. Have to give Detroit credit. Minny had chances to put it away but couldn't. Detroit took advantage. Gardenhire will have to answer why Nathan wasn't brought in with the lead.

I'm also wondering what the hell Delmon Young was doing. :mj07: How long did he hold that ball before he got it in?
