4-3 playoffs

Played: PHILADELPHIA +129 (HAMELS VS KERSHAW LISTED)

Not gonna go into a lot of detail on this game because if you look at a lot of the numbers and stats, it's really hard to bet against Kershaw and the Dodgers in this game and actually it's really hard to go against Kershaw in any game period as the guy is absolutely UNHITTABLE....I mean only giving up 119 hits in 171 innings this season is pretty amazing. Now with that being said, Kershaw might be unhittable but he's definitely not UNBEATABLE. In 31 games in which 30 were starts, his record was just 8-8 and the Dodgers record was just 15-16 in those games. He does tend to walk more than average and with runners on base and in scoring position he tends to walk even more it seems and that may be the diffence if Philly gets a runner or 2 aboard, all it takes is one big hit and it definitely could happen in a big game with a young pitcher out there. Hamels also seems to handle the Dodgers fairly well so it probably won't take too many runs to win this one and think the Phils can get it done in game 1.

I know it's probably not a popular pick and maybe it's the wrong one, but I'm taking a shot here on the DOG.

Good luck to everyone today :0corn

Excellent analysis to say the least. Kershaw was very tough, but did walk 5 batters. His control cost him tonight & the Phillies flexed their muscles in delivering a couple 3 run homers.

Hamels once again struggled and is an automatic fade as chalk in my book the remainder of the post season. Better to be lucky than good when wagering and I felt a little lucky with Philly.
