Does anyone else find this somewhat odd??
Let me first say that I know little to nothing about either team with the exception that I know BG QB is Sheehan.
THE TOTAL IN THE BOWLING GREEN @ BALL ST GAME IS 54.
Bowling Green is scoring 24.7 a game which is not terrible and they average over 405 yards a game.
Ball St is scoring 20.3 a game.
Here is the glaring number:
Bowling Green gives up 31.0 points per game.
Ball St gives up 30.3 points per game.
And both defenses give up 400 yards per game.
Look at the last 3 games for BG:
Won 36-35 at Kent (Kent entered game scoring 13.8 per game against some bad teams)
Lost 44-37 vs Ohio (Most points Ohio scored all season by 13)
Lost 49-14 vs Boise
Look at the last 3 games for Ball St:
Lost 24-19 at Temple (no offensive juggernaut)
Lost 37-30 vs Toledo
Lost 54-30 @ Auburn (Put up 30 on Auburn)
I know Ball St should have all kinds of trouble stopping Sheehan and Bowling Green.
My question is why should I think BG can stop Ball after Kent and Ohio were able to score at will on them?
I need somebody to talk me off this ledge or push me.:142smilie
I think this number should be around 60.
