If the 2h number is reasonable, I will probably take a stab on Nebraska. I just don't see TT blowing out Nebraska in Lincoln, but I could be wrong.

Perhaps. But this game reminds me a lot of the Michigan State game. Big home favorite looks like crap in the 1h, then comes out dominates in the 2h. I don't think Nebraska will dominate because TT is a much better team than NW, but I think they make it a ballgame at least.
And FWIW, these are probably my favorite bets to make. Home faves that struggle in the 1h typically play a lot better in the 2h. Not always of course (I got bit by NC State last week, for example), but usually.
Like I said though, it will depend on the number. Won't lay it if it's huge.

I bit and took Nebraska -6'. Just a medium-sized play. If TT can blow them out, I'll just have to tip my cap.
I guess you have not watched TT and Neb play this year, because the talent level is not close in this one Glenn. Neb would be the fifth best team in the Big XII south by a lot. LDB stole my two picks on this and Navy but hey if it works for all of us good job.

I never said I bet on Nebraska -10 for the game. I also never said Nebraska was better. I have them -6' in the 2h only, which means if they lose by 14, at home, I win my bet. That's a bet I'll make. If I lose, I lose. But there's value in that bet, IMO.
I see where you could like 2nd half bets like that but in this case TT is just too much of a better team than Neb. I will hope for another 4th quarter like last week for Nebraska, as long as they don't take a lead in the game lol. GL
You could be right. They look very good. I was hoping they might let off the gas a little bit with a 3 TD lead, but I don't think that will happen.

31-10 now. 2h bet is a loser. It's alright though, I actually gave up on it a while ago. If they were going to cover the 2h they had to make some noise in the 3q. Once it was a blowout in the 4th the odds of it cashing were slim and none.
