The Halos Must get Pettite Early

This is not going to be easy for LA today.

Mistakes were deadly for Angels--they could not adapt to the cold in New York.

It's going to be hard for them to steal any bases on Pettite. So they are going to have to string some hits on him and hopefully a Homer and some doubles.

Yankees are not in their little toy doll house that is now The House That Barbie Built....that right field in Yankee Stadium is Williamsport Level.

yanks don't really need to ask a ton of pettite today. Give 5+ innings of 1-2 run ball, and turn it over to the bullpen. he is a big game pitcher and I think he has got at least 1 more left in him.

the real question in this game is will the yanks score against weaver?

Probably going to be a tight game....I would lean taking yankees + anything really, as its great value for the best team in the playoffs.

pj im with you on the yanks. they are hot in the playoffs and haven't fizzled yet. halos were showing signs of defeat already in the 2nd game...just got feeling but i think yanks win this two but then again usually im always wrong on bases so don't pay attention to me :mj07: lol im a yanks homer!!!

agreed its soley on value at this point until halos can prove they can do anything against the yanks in the postseason. im leaning yanks and the under 1st 5 and game

Yep PJ after all the minuses against the Angels i still pick them..

They just could not cope with the cold weather an Barbie Stadium.

They are back home, it's warm, and i just don'e think you will see all the clumsy errors that the Angels gaffed.

I must say A-Rod has stepped up bigtime and clutch in both playoofs so far...and not enough is said about how well he fields 3rd base...
