Dr Rays all the credibility you have earned just went flying out of the window with that comment... Fire Scioscia? Arguably the best manager in the game? Pull it together man. Weaver looked great but he wanted a lefty out there to face the 4 of the 5 hitters due up. Besides, Weaver is starting game 7.

If you say so. Maybe my emotion got the better part of me tonight (even though I had no money at risk by the 9th inning). So if my credibility is gone for showing emotion and being on a gambling forum and posting my feeling so be it I could care less.

Hey man I won't knock you for emotion. I get fired up too. I'm just saying that was irrational. Guys make managing blunders, players make errors etc. Get pissed at them but be realisitic. I doubt the Cardinals would cut Holliday after that goof in game 2 of the NLDS. Know what I'm sayin?

Sure thing.

1. Never should have taken out Lackey and it would have never been a 6 run inning for NY.

2. Never should have warmed up Weaver used him for 1 inning when he mowed down the Yankees in the 8th you let him pitch the 9th. Fuentes fucking sucks.

Peace man lets hope they win game 6 though it is going to get rained out on SAT.

I agree about LACKEY... Pulling him after he EARNED the right to try and keep the ERA at zero when he got the 2nd out.

But, Fuentes is a closer for them and he is EXPECTED to do that. WHATEVER or WHOEVER decided to walk AROD was the disaster setup... Great points were made about not seeing a 2 run HR with no one on, and AROD couldnt beat them by himself, and FUENTES isnt that BAD at ALL..... UNTIL someone is on base and he is in the stretch... ADD STRESS of the importance, and next thing you know its 3-2 bases loaded and HE NEVER EVEN GAVE UP A HIT!!!

I agree with everyone here about Scosisa (sp)'s questionable (at best) decision making today. And like I said in another thread, LACKEY won't forget saying, "This one is mine", and Coach not even giving him a second glance, taking the ball, giving it to a reliever, and having him put up 3 runs against a brilliant start today, considering... That 1st inning set the tone for LACKEY. HE EARNED THE RIGHT TO GET THROUGH 7.

*NOTE TO LACKEY: RUN. FIND ANOTHER HOME.

8NOTE TO Scioscia: Think about what you are doing to someone who got you to that position in the game with ZERO RUNS AGAINST and is telling you face to face that he's in control, and TRUST THE PLAYER'S GUT. OR AT LEAST LET HIM TRY, GIVE UP A BASE HIT, 1-2 SCORE and THEN PULL HIM!!!
