since 1992 dantonio (coach of msu) is 10-1 under in home games off 1 or more consecutive unders in all games he has coached....the average score was dantonio 21.7, opponent 16.9....
ferentz is 15-4 under in road games off 1 or more consecutive unders as the coach of iowa....the average score was iowa 23.8, opponent 17.6....
under 48(120) akron / syracuse....
akron is having problems scoring points this season since their starting qb was suspended for the season....now their backup, who hasn't passed for more than 140 yds.in a game may also be out for this game....syr.also has problems on offense....their qb has thrown 10 ints & was benched in the 2nd half against w.virg & their running attack ranks 109th in the nation....on the other hand their run defense ranks 17th in the nation....
play under - any team against the total (syracuse) - in non-conference games, off 2 straight losses to conference rivals, allowing 31 points or more....
over the last 5 seasons the record for this system is....29-7....80.6%....

Not trying to influence your play at all because Akron has been playing good enough defense and they also lost their best receiver last week. The Zips are down to the 3rd stringer, Nicely and he will be there for the rest of the year unless he goes down as well. He will more than likely begin to throw the ball more than Rodgers. He's more of a straight drop back guy while Rodgers kept his passing numbers down because he was a decent running threat.
Just file this away and keep an eye on things. It's looking pretty bad for UA. But on a positive note they do have the nations #1 soccer team and the hoops team is loaded.

most of the time my plays are all equal in value....so i don't get too hurt if i am wrong on a play....the total on this game fits into my parameters of a numerical system that i use as a starting point in my capping....

total opened at 50 & i missed playing it....it then went down to 45.5 & i put it in the back of my probable plays list....& then it start going back up & i grabbed it at 48....
virginia is making their typical 2nd half move where they start playing very solid ball, especially on defense (they have held their last 3 opponenets to single digit points)....virignia is also well disciplined on defense & have the experience to contain the gt attack as witnessed by their on the road upset of gt last year 24-17 where they held gt to 160 rushing yards last year well below their 250+ that they usually average.....
a few trends to support this play....
georgia tech is 8-1 under after 2 or more consecutive straight up wins over the last 3 seasons....the average score was georgia tech 17.5, opponent 25.5....
virginia is 20-4 under after gaining 75 or less rushing yards last game since 1992....the average score was virginia 18.4, opponent 19.7....
6 of the last 7 games between these 2 teams have failed to reach 48 combined points scored & i don't see why this doesn't also....especially since there may be inclement weather....

since 1992 miss. is 17-5 under after covering the spread in 4 or 5 out of their last 6 games....the average score was miss. 23.4, opponent 19.7....
over the last 3 seasons miss. is 10-2 under after a game where they forced 1 or less turnovers....the average score was miss. 21.4, opponent 19.8....
under 60(120) wash. st / calif....
i'm banking on calif. to step on the brakes eventually....
since 1992 calif. is 19-6 under after scoring 24 points or more in the first half last game....the average score was calif. 32.2, opponent 17.6....
as the coach of calif.tedford is 10-2 under after a playing a game where 70 total points or more were scored....the average score was calif.34.2, opponent 18.0....
under 52 tcu /byu....
the last 3 games between these 2 teams hasn't gone over 49 total points scored....
over the last 2 seasons tcu is 6-0 under versus good rushing defenses - allowing <=120 rushing yards/game....the average score was tcu 24.6, opponent 15.4....
since 1992 byu is 22-9 under versus good rushing teams - averaging >=200 rushing yards/game....the average score was byu 27.1, opponent 25.7....

mid. tenn. st. seems to be a team that is having offensive problems....in their last 2 games their offense, especially their qb....also has a way of reprimanding the qb & center for breaking team rules the coach forced them to sit out the 1st quarter in last week's game....that was in addition to 4 other players being suspended last week for being arrested.....the mts defense performed fairly well last week & should have little trouble shutting down a wk. kentucky offense that cant throw the ball.....
