This line should be in double figures.Army self destructed at Temple last week.had 14 penalties,7 were for off sides...Steelman is banged up..only played 7 minutes in the 2nd half...was at practice today...Army will not be able to score vs Rutgers defense...Temple put 8 guys in the box..everyone does...Army cannot pass..OL is young and makes mental mistakes.Army is 114th in total offense..Rutgers is so much quicker on defense...Army's option attack has no outside speed.
Will be back all week updating..
Also like Rutgers -6 1st half.....

Rutgers -9 over Army
the line has gone up to -10...
It just started to rain here with light showers.Around 9.00 pm it will rain a little harder.Had tickets to the game but a rescheduled home football game and homecoming dance tonite made me change my plans.
Think Rutgers defense will dominate the game.Army can't score.There triple option is getting better but there running backs don't scare anyone.They have no outside speed.RU will stack the box and make Steelman throw.last week army had 14 penalties vs Temple. 7 were for offsides....RU offense gained on the ground only 38 yds vs Pitt last week.But Martineck and Williams have the talent to hurt army on the ground.Savage the frosh RU qb is getting better.This is his 1st away game.He's a big kid and RU will give him time to pass.Army defense is playing great.They have one of the best DE's in McNary who is 2nd in the country in sacks.but tonite he goes against 325 pound Davis, one of the best Ol in the nation.I think McNary will have trouble tonite.
RU is quicker and more athletic on both sides of the ball.Think Steelman will have trouble in the option.RU will have someone shadow him and make him get rid of the ball.You all get to see tonite Armys secret weapon..it's 6'9 wr 300 pound Villanueva.And he's not a TE....he leads army with 16 catches.
RU wins this by 2 td's..army hasn't scored more then one offensive td in the past 4 games....don't think they get more then 1 tonite.

That was a nice Rutgers win.Army had 3 fumbles,one blocked punt returned for a TD.And they scored just one TD.Got home late and watched it late last nite.And I predicted the score,27-10.Damn,I'm good. With over 2,000 of posts and predictions and after 25 years of doing this,I finally got one exact score.Tonites 3 number lotto in NY state is 139.Box it anyway....I think I can hit two in a row..

South Carolina -13 over Vandy ***** strong play
Vandy can't play any offense.I think that Spurrier who has lost to Vandy the past two years-17-24 and 6-17 beats them like he did 3 years ago 31-13.Vandy is down,revenge and Gamecocks with better talent on both ends.Take the past two years away and Spurrier is 14-0 vs them even though many of those wins were with the gators.

Troy -20 over North Texas ****
NT has lost 5 in a row.Last week to FAU 44-40.Dodge is out at Qb so NT has pocket passer Tune replacing him.Many think he is better then the coaches son.But Troy has some good DE's and that could spell trouble for NT.NT ground attack with Dunbar who gained 230 yds last week is solid.Troy has beaten NT 5 of the last 6 times.The past couple two years 45-17 and 45-7. That's 90-24.
Troy has 6'4 QB Brown who can pass.Harris is a solid RB and Jerrigan a good WR. On defense Troy has about 3 or 4 1st team all conf players.And although there defense isn't playing as it should I think today they slow down NT.NT will have to rely on there running game and I think they will score some points..but not enough to outscore Brown and co. I liked the over but it's up to 59..might pass on that.But Troy is in 1st place and think they roll today and win by at least 3 td's.
