I do agree with you

I am not familiar w/ the rules, but both appeared offsides. The DE was in the backfield, while the left WR was not set. My father in law says the penalty goes to the offense in that situation ( he is wrong as often as you or I, so would not take that as fact), but either way a flag should have been thrown immediately. It should also be noted the DE was not lollygagging, he was actually running to get onsides as the ball was snapped.
