In the shadows
In February of 2009 Ron Paul warned of a US Dollar collapse when China stops buying our debt in this video. There are many good points that Mr. Paul points out in the video but none were more prophetic then calling for the dollar bubble to burst. When the video was recorded the US Dollar index was around 86. Today the US Dollar Index is currently at 75.5.

Another ironic fact about this video is that shortly after this video was recorded President Obama went on 60 Minutes and made the statement that ?the dollar is still strong.? Unfortunately the dollar was not strong and we have seen that as a 10% drop has happened since the president?s statement. For those of you wondering why the value of the dollar continues to decline it is truly supply and demand.

The Federal Reserve Bank continues to print money at will. The billions of dollars that have been created out of thin air because of the stimulus package are only decreasing the value of the dollar. Not only is the value of the dollar decreasing, the Federal Reserve Bank is causing people to do things that they normally would not do. With extremely low interest rates people are going to buy homes. There is no problem with people buying homes except that many of these home buyers cannot truly afford homes. For reference to this take a look at the subprime mortgage crisis.

Ron Paul has hope that things will get better though as many Americans are educating themselves to the situation at hand. The book End the Fed by Ron Paul remains on the Amazon.com Top 100 list when is encouraging. If we continue to do the research and better understand what is going on then we are more apt to make the changes necessary to avoid possible disaster.
Make sure to return to Subprime Blogger to get your Ron Paul news. We also write columns on Jim Rogers, Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente as these men have done a great job of pointing out some of the problems America faces. Each of these men correctly predicted the decline of the dollar and the subsequent commodity bull market. We will continue to keep you updated on the commodity bull market as well as commentary from these individuals. The columns are located in the Current News section with a link located below.

Thats what was so amazing. He was the only one that really had a shot to beat Obama. How much sense does he make now?

Well, Ron Paul isn't really a Republican, is he? He's a Constitutional Libertarian and Rush Limbaugh will have none of it.

next election will be ripe for a third party. screw the rest of 'em.

You don't get the marketing machine that is the Republica/Democratic parties. I'll vote third party until the cows come home, but the two major players control everything.

When Ron Paul was included in the debates, the TV stations didn't give him the time of day. The dumb fucks around here that side with one or the other are morons/suckers.

I would not believe Paul had a shot if we had not come close to electing Perot. I was still pretty young but I remember Bush/Clinton/Perot were all within points of each other before he dropped out. I know there were still a few months before the election but he was getting 30% of the vote at the time. Maybe we need to buy a ton of infomercials!

TU,

When Perot ran and based on your statements, I am guessing you are about 28-34 years old? Anyways, Ross got cornholed by the system, the Debates which were sponsored by the League of Women Voters until Perot's first run. When he ran the second time, the Dole and Clinton Camp decided to put the debates into the hands of a congressional panel. So if there were any third party to gain the amount of support as Perot had there would have to be a change on the hill. :mj07: http://www.posner.com/articles/stealth - the posner file.htm

Paying for a Candidates commercials is a great idea, Ron Paul was on Kenny Wallace's and Robby Gordon's Car in NASCAR, I have two shirts and a hat, Ron Paul Racing. I really despise the term "Grassroots" it's over used. Over course this past summer it did'nt help with the band wagon Ron Paul supporters or "Tea Baggers" that the dipshits at MSNBC got such a thrill repeating over and over again like a 3 year old and Astro Turf, booooo !!! Very un-original, why? why is it that if the left does something it's sincere and the right or the Libertarians do it's not? I understand if Becky and Vanity and their ilk steal from Ron Paul, AND THEY DO !!!!! I would offer up my 5 best baseball cards, and they are good, from the 40's, to watch Ron Paul PUNK Becky, that would take about five minutes. Becky wouldn't have his research team at his side or he could steal off the infowars site to be prepared, oh he would cry allright, and he wouldn't even need Vicks underneath his eyes to do it.

Locally is where it starts, and the first time someone shouts and a screaching voice "It's a grass roots movement" FUCK YOU ! It is not it's a pavement pounding movement ! The firts time someone accuses the movement as being "Astro Turf" you laugh at them, oh isn't the special, you can repeat just like a parrot from MSNBC, anything original ? It's people like the Ron Paul supporters and other Libertarian, Constituton Party Candidates that formed this country. Not whiney grapenuts, not greedy bankers.

Holy shit ! I never intended my response to be this long :nono: :142smilie :142smilie But I tend to get a little fired up about this type of stuff.
But, I guess it needs to said ? :)

If it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one who wished this post wasn't so long.

Yeah I was pretty young during the first Perot run. It was pretty interesting to see him during those debates. I really wish he would have stayed in the race. Who knows what would have happened? Just to see that a 3rd party candidate could really have an impact was something. The game is even harder today.
