Just looking at this game and doesn't 16.5 or 17 seem like a ton vs. a solid UNC defense? I know Yates looked terrible last week against Florida State which could be one of the reasons the number is a little higher than expected.

Thoughts from others? I have been in a slump so help is appreciated. I know Va Tech is rested so maybe this is a 38-7 blowout.:violin:

VT is averaging 36.7 pts at home this year. UNC has a solid D so I don't think they will score this much.
UNC is averaging 9.5 pts on the road this year and I don't see them scoring much more than that at VT who's D only allows 11.5 pts a game at home. Since both teams hve strong defenses and UNC has a week offense i took the under at 44

Hope this helps! GL

The overall numbers are somewhat misleading. The last 3 games UNC is avg 24 point. Couple that with the line and UNC's defense holding opponents to 19 or so. Va Tech would have to score 40. :scared

My take is that its UNC or no play, and I'm going to honestly let tonight's game slide. I wouldn't be playing it if it were on Saturday.

I just can't get the Duke game out of my head... I see a repeat.

Took UNC +17 (-120) for 10* & 1st half +10 for 4*.

I know Florida State went up and down the field on UNC last week and the Tar Heels defense was exposed especially by the pass. However, I think 17 is a very generous number and I'll bite. If UNC wins last week, I doubt this line is over 14.

I also think this number is inflated due to Va Tech's slaughters of Miami & BC at home recently.
