Top Obama aides reflect on first year, discuss 3 a.m. moment.
(CNN) - Top Obama communication aides Anita Dunn, David Axelrod, and Robert Gibbs sat down with CNN's Wolf Blitzer in an exclusive, reflective interview looking back at the administration's first 10 months.

In the behind-the-scenes interview, Gibbs described the president's "3 a.m. wake-up call" moment last April, when word came in the early morning hours that the North Koreans had conducted a nuclear missile test.

"We all were in a room in - on the first foreign trip in Prague in the Czech Republic - when we were notified of the North Koreans testing a long-range missile, something we'd expected to happen over a certain amount of time," Gibbs said. "And I think it was about 4:00 in the morning we were in there and we then discussed that and I went to wake him up and he soon joined all of us in getting intelligence briefings from in the room as well as back in D.C."

Axelrod said Obama proceeded to get "a read up on the military people, [get] on the line with Secretary Gates, General Cartwright I think. And then he says, "OK, here's what we're going to do."

what a great President Obama is becoming.

Been a long long time since we have had someone not afraid to run the country like it is supposed to be run.

Someone not afraid to listen and then make a fawking decision.

Scotty likes to be told what to do, thats why he supports Obama so much, I bet his wife wears the pants:)

Scott- I think you are posting the shit you do for reaction, how in the world can you think Obama has done a good job? He has been horrible unless you want the government to tell you what to do, how to do it and when to do it, I like choices in my life, government is in the way, they need to get out of my life not more in it.

Could you explain what is so great--they shot of another barrage on 4th of July--which was a proverbial bitch slap in his face.

--and what about Iran
Remember Gumbys empty threats and oct deadline--well this is last day of Oct
let me refresh everyones memorty on what he said--
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...st-allow-iaea-unfettered-access-in-two-weeks/

Russia--bitchslapped inline again

Of course Palestine-cuba and venezuala are all :00hour but Isreal-and eastern european nations :(

--and on afgan
I have to admit I was wrong--I said he couldn't vote present as he did 100's of times as junior senator--once he became president

in a nutshell--this will confirm how afgan ranks with olympics in Chicago-healthcare etc

Obama and McChrystal

The Washington Times picks up an interesting tidbit on Obama's -- thus far -- limited personal involvement in the Afghan war:
?I?ve talked to the president, since I?ve been here, once on a VTC [video teleconferece],? General Stanley McChrystal told CBS reporter David Martin in a television interview that aired Sunday.

?You?ve talked to him once in 70 days?? Mr. Martin followed up.

?That is correct,? the general replied

we always right :D

Obama is an extremist, you cant see that? who are these so called czars he appointed, they are self proclaimed marxists, socialists, communists. Obama has never held down a real job, never even run a hotdog stand, never met a payroll, he was a community organized, Hitler was a community organizer, I think we are headed for a Hitler America, if that is what you want, then you are going to get your wish. There are so many parallels to Hitler its not even funny. Its happening right before your eyes, sheep never learn...
