And it WAS SOOOOOO TRUE... Especially comment about Crawford and C. Anthony! ( he got all the calls when he needed em).. Whenever Port got up 6 or 7 within 60 secs of gm time (EVERYTIME, 5 times or so 2nd half), Denver was back to 2 or 3 down... Til 3 min left or so and then refs seem to LET DENVER take over... Look at the FTs.... And I was calling it (what the score would do), everytime they got up 6.
Vegas IMO wanted:
Port to win
Port to NOT COVER
Game to go under... (as close as poss. BUT UNDER NO MATTER WHAT)
This is WHAT I SAW IN THE 1st HALF WITH THE REFS and KNEW they wanted the following:
UNDER OBVIOUSLY IN THE GAME (though that bs foul of a hold to let dude shoot 2 fts (figured he make 1 and only 1), scared me. The two teams shot and made like 40 pts or so in final 5 + min mostly on fts... (And I think that was to let Joe Public on over feel better that it was close) (Should have been around 180 pts final)
PORTLAND TO NEVER EVER HAVE A CHANCE TO COVER THE SPREAD TONIGHT.
And I thought Port to win (with Den having a slight chance to steal a win), but not cover... (Keep score always within 3...) Port, NOT ALLOWED to blow open at ANYTIME.
So, the 3rd part was wrong, and I realized that when Denver got their 1st lead in the 2nd half with like 3 min left.... And both teams were really not on fire... but Den would get some really bad calls to help them get where? The FT line. Everytime Port made a push. Yes, Port could have won the game, but they couldnt make FTs. Refs gave them a chance, but I think they wanted NO OT. So, make sure each team had a chance to win in final 10 secs. Which they did.
So watch the clip and get back post your guys' thoughts. I am going to buy the book and BUILD A REF CROOKED SYSTEM (Ill call it), based on all I learn and which refs like which players or hate which players....
