Series Plays:

Dodgers-125 6 units
Angels+165 3 units

The Dodgers have better pitching by far (deep starters and deep bullpen) and equal hitting. Just like vs the Cardinals people are talking the 1-2 starting combo with Phily....this time Lee and Hamels. They do not measure up to the St Louis duo and the Dodgers took care of St Louis easily. Hamels will not pitch a complete game. The Phillies bullpen will be their undoing here as the Dodgers can get situational in the late going while the Phillies have no shut down reliever. Lidge is not back! He was all over the place in game 3 walking 2 and got out of it with some over aggressive swinging. Game 4 he pitched to one batter. Why didn't Manual bring him out to start the inning? This guy is not reliable anymore, that's why. Joe Torre will not let Ryan Howard see a righty in any crucial situation. He'll see a lefty or will be walked....not like that idiot Tracy did when he allowed Howard to bat against Street with Street struggling for the second day in a row with a lefty in the pen

I see the Angels equal to the Yankees. Their defense, speed and deeper starting pitching neutralizies the Yankee power. I still can't believe the Yankees are here with that outfield. Their infield is great hitting and fielding but the outield is weak and will be exposed here along with Posada's arm.

Looking for a battle of the bullpens again with Dodgers having the edge. Also figuring in day game will add to scoring. Good Luck!

The Phillies used a lot of pitchers last night from their bullpen. With Pedro starting this afternoon their going to need him to go at least 5 innings. The ball does fly in day games at Dodger Stadium, and with this kind of pitching matchup I like the over +9. Dodgers are -155 ML at my book, probably take them -1.5 at +140. They should get to Pedro early

I put in a Dodgers for the series play yday... and will add a bit to it today, think their bats showed alot of life last nite....
and they have to win tonite or its big trouble...

I'm an Angels fan, and love their momentum going into this series.... decent value...

but not sure how much to risk yet...

Best O'Luck!!

Thanks LOB...I don't suscribe to the momentum factor in baseball or the must win theory completely....lots of times momentum gets stopped by a great pitching performance...today i believe the Dodgers will have the opportunity to hit by virtue of the Philly bullpen and even maybe Pedro....I certainly am with you as far as my cash is concerned....good luck

followed you in hardball, you had a good solid record. i put him at 13 yrs old.:scared

I'm thinking early 30's...fat and ugly....lousy home life....no one listens to him in real life so he comes here and vents...and hopes to be loved...sad...
