get my email from jack and let me know what size the kid wears in apparel. tracksuit jacket and pants, shorts, shirts. i will promo some goods for him. if your not sure of what size he wears, just let me know his height and weight and I'll take it from there.

Just realized what you said! Unbelievable buddy! When you come out here I will make sure you get to meet him. You are such a fkin stud man! It prob won't cost you that much because everyone is being so generous.

You guys have really stepped up for this. I can't thank you enough! Will have lots of photos and updates. Hell, maybe I will go with the kid :):toast:

Good news from Naat'aanii

Good news from Naat'aanii

First off, I can't tell you how awesome you guys really are. I have already received 4-5 checks and Pay Pals, and have emails from others saying checks are in the mail. I won't spoil it but Vanbasten has really stepped up in the wardrobe dept. Thanks again guys for helping out a family in need and doing it so quickly! Good karma for all.

Hi Chad,

With the weather report, it looks to me like we can wait till I see you Sunday. The first race (Colorado Association) was scheduled for November 7th but got cancelled because the high school races got pushed back and I guess the timing people and equipment are obligated to that race above the Junior Olympic race. So all runners were waived into the Regional Championship on November 21st in El Paso, TX. He has what he needs for warm weather training so he is good through at least this week.

He is flying back on Nov. 22nd.



So, I should have enough $$$ to take care of whatever he needs. I will let you know if not. We take our basketball pictures on Sunday and I will post a pic of the team and Nat.

To all of you amazing folks at MJ's,

All of the money was collected (within a week!). The total was $700. On top of that, Vanbasten ordered all the equipment and more that Nat needed for the race. It is all being shipped to my house as we speak. You guys went above and beyond, as usual! I had to turn people away! :00hour

We collected more than enough for the kid to compete comfortably, an awesome gift.

I am waiting for an update from the dad as we speak. Here is a picture of Nat from Sunday.

Got the boxes of goodies from Vanbasten. Was totally in awe! There must be $500 in merchandise from Nike. 3 boxes full of stuff! Chris, I cannot thank you enough. All of you really, what a great bunch of degenerates you are!

Now for the bad news....Nat's dad called me yesterday and I couldn't talk long because I was at practice for my HS team. He said Nat did not qualify out in Texas:( He finished 22nd and top 20 go on. He is very young for his age and was going against HS boys.

His dad is going to write a summary for me on his results and $$$ spent. Question is this, what do we do with all the left over money? Hope to see him today as they have 2 basketball games and I think he flew in last night.

Will let you know.

In your first post you said the family was going thru some tough times.

Maybe take the extra money and get them something they really need but can't afford.

Just my 2 cents.
