Played:

Buffalo -3 (-105) x1 BG playing 3rd of 4 on the road. The defense is a sieve, despite their decent showings the past 2 games vs lowly Ball St and CMU in a letdown spot. BG O is 1 dimensional, while Buff should run the football well against this soft of a front.

Syracuse's leading WR and leading WR in the Big East just quit the team. I would be careful backing the Orangemen in this spot. Just my $.02 as there is obvious turmoil happening.

Thanks. I read that, and thought addition by subtraction. Cuse played better than the final score would indicate last week, and Williams, who is a constant whiner, was not a major part of it. A pair of redzone turnovers, including a fumble inside the 10 and an INT in the endzone, changed the complectionof the game. Also, the starting C is back this week, after missing some time. I love this spot for Cuse, as Pitt was on a roll heading to their bye week, and now have ND on deck.

Now I read that 3 more players were suspended yesterday and it scares me. Turmoil is right. May get off of this play.

Looks like LSU is a popular dog, which scares me. Defintely thought sentiment would be on the other side given the run that Bama gets nationally. Will keep my eye on that one. Either way, LSU will not beat Bama and become a top 3 type of team. In fact, I see LSU losing @ Ole Miss in a couple of weeks regardless of what happens this week. But, that's another story....

ECU +13 x2 at first glance, it may seem VT will come out tonight like a caged lion, havbing losing their 2nd straight and 3rd overall last week. However, the 3rd loss basically takes VT out of contention for all of their preseason goals, as they find themselves 2 games back of GT plus a tie-breaker to win their division. This will be a game of the year atmosphere for ECU tonight, while VT has to try to match that energy in a meaningless OOC game that happens to be their 2nd straight on Thursday night and 2nd roadie in 3 weeks. ECU has had success ATS vs ranked opponents under this coaching staff. Close game imo.

Good luck tonight Cie,
I like that Miami OH play I think thats a lot of chalk for Temple to cover there. Head to head on the VT/ECU game. I think the hokies defense proves too much. ECU has only seen a defense like that once this season and that was in a loss to UNC 31-17. But the pirates made a big game of it till half.

GL this weekend

Cheers

Tend to agree Cie...thinking a 31-24 type game for the Hokies.

Unless LSU moves the pocket and takes some shots down the field to keep Bama honest, they will not move the ball much. I is undeniable that LSU O, under Miles, generally plays conservatively in big conference games.

Both teams will try to establish the run, and neither QB can be trusted to convert on 3rd down against good defenses, so I lean under.

Thx Irish and #.

I bought back Cuse play due to multiple suspensions, which I was unaware of when played this originally. Still like this play, but not interested in laying $ on team in apparent disarray.

Going to take a small share of ECU. They have a history of showing up big against better on these ESPN games .

Good luck this week

Thanks Tulah and Spang:toast:

1-1 +.9U on the week with a push on ECU.

I like Arky and under 55, but sticking with the side in this one. SC is banged up in their defensive front, as well as in the secondary. Bad news against an offensive machine like Arky, especially at home. Plus, Arky is in a soft part of their schedule in between a pair of OOC matchups, while SC just lost at Vols, and face Florida next week.

Added:

Arky -7 x2
Central Florida +35.5 x4
Letdown spot for Texas. UCF plays Texas with confidence. UCF has played well on road. UCF is a talented and experienced 35+ pt dog. This game is being played early, which is a boost, as the home field edge is not as big. Looking at collegeinjuryreport.com, UCF appears healthy going into this one. This sets up as a 37-13 type of game imo.

I actually played x2 at +36 on Wednesday and just noticed when I added x2 to this play that I failed to post it then.
