AirForce -16.5 over Army ******** strong play
Like the Flyboys to win this by more then 3 td's.Army still has growing pains with there option attack.Steelman is a young freshman qb learning as he goes.His biggest problen is the passing game.Other then 6'10 300 pound Villnanova they have no solid wr's.Army backs have no outside speed.Everything is inside and everyone has stacked 7 or 8 people on the box.Army has had 25 fumbles and so many penalties on the OL.Army defense isn't bad but going against this AF option will cause major problems.AF lines up in so many formations that they never have back-back looks.They run the I,"shotgun with 4 wr's",etc...Army will have problems stopping this.And to make matters worse Army's best player DT Ugenye might not play.
AF's defense is tough with that "swarming style" attack.They rank 8th in yds allowed.They have 2 db's that are lightning quick.Qb Jefferson will throw the ball vs Army which will cause so many problems for the defense.
AF is a consistent team that doesn't hurt itself.Army self destruts esp in the last qrt.Army's kicking game is terrible which forces them to try to get more 1st downs.
AF lost to Utah in OT, and lost to TCU by a FG in OT.
Past 3 yrs Af wins 16-7,30-10,and 43-7 .
