Has anyone owned or played with the Taylor made R7 limited driver. My buddy picked one up and gets 20 more yards off tee. The reason i'm asking is Dicks
has them for $149.99 on sale this week. Good investment or not?

I have a r7 limited as well as an older r540. I honestly hit the old 540 better. The r7 may be a touch longer but I control the r5 much better.

Look on ebay, you may find it cheaper. I paid just over $109 for mine and may sell it for about the same. It's only been hit on the range so it's still almost like new.

The limited is average at best. I suppose for $149 , it could be worth the gamble for you. I had a very hard time selling them last year, but leave it to Dicks to corner the market on any and every closeout Taylor Made has to offer. When Taylor Made stops making a club, they give Dicks exclusive rights to them first. The Cleveland Launcher is marked down to $199. For the extra $50 it's a no brainier. Good luck with whatever you go with. Long and straight!
