Where it is real F ing COLD
The Dalllas Cowboys come into Green Bay with a nice little winning streak and Green Bay has been stuggling of late.. Cowboys should come in and roll...

NOT SO FAST

This is a perfect spot for the hated Packer team.. The offensive line has been in shambles allowing tons of sacks and the special teams has been brutal, but the COWBOYS will get torched by Rodgers in this one.. The Cowboys do not match up well against the PACK on both sides of the ball.. I lknow the Cowboys have looked great but don't expect their offense to jell in this one.. Miles Austin will get shut down in this one by Woodson allowing the pack to focus their attention on the Dallas running game shutting it down and forcing Romo to be stellar to keep up with Pack.. I think the Boys will be able to move the ball a little in this game but not enough to keep up with what Rogers will do to them. The Boys have not faced an offense that is this explosive.. Boys coming off a BIG win in Philly and now on back 2 back tough road games. Pack was beat at home last time there and looked bad last week. Look for the Pack to put an emphasis on stopping the run, protecting Rogers, and improved special teams. Romo WILL get picked at least twice in this one and the Pack score at will on the Dallas secondary.

Take the Pack +3. $330/$300 and I am going to take them ML too for $200 when my book offers it.

PACK 38 BOYS 24

I love it dog!!! I posted this elsewhere...

First off, the need to win factor is wayyy over rated. not to mention most of the time, teams that "need" to win, don't. the percentages are horrible on that trend. After this game everyone will be saying to themselves "they are who we thought they were" about Dallas. They are not a good team. Let me break down their last 3 wins:

Atlanta, Dallas was in a GREAT spot in this game. very well rested coming off the bye, there were other situational trends in their favor as well.

Seattle, Dallas was still at home against a team that only shows up some of the time. that was a gimme for them.

Philly, very BIG revenge spot for the cowboys for last year when the eagles blew the doors off dallas to close out the season. eagles were very flat in that game having just defeated the redskins and then the giants coming off a short week.

I believe both of these teams are very evenly matched. However GB is an AWSOME tackling team. The first guy always gets you 95% of the time. And for that my dollar is on GB.

Just my two cents.

I agree with you on all of this.. Pack do have terrible special teams and the defense has only looked good against shitty teams and that is the only way the boys win. Is if the Pack give up tons of special teams plays.. I still love the play when Harvin catches the ball and the pack had 3 guys in the secondary run into each and fall down like the 3 stooges. ( I had to rub that in.) Anyway they will control this game.

I have been doing good with the North if I would just stick to that I would be way ahead in NFL but I have come a long way of late.. I was way down and I have chizzled it down..

The other games this week,

The Vikes should pound Detroit but 16 is a lot of points..

Chicago vs San Fran.. Who could predict that one  I will probably play the under for beer money. Think SF will run run run and never know what the Bears will do but judging by Tennessee last week you got to think the Bears will try to run more too. That has been the problem with the Bears.,. Cutler is good but now the Bears have been a pass first team this yearl They simply do not have the weapons for that and Cutler has killed them with INTs in the red zone this year.

not so fast my Favre luving bro

:nono:
I jumped on Dallas -2.5, WHY.
If you think GB can beat Atlanta, Seattle, Philly, your silly.
Local radio on way home from work, Tausher out reinjured his knee, not good news considering the Oline is already being called swiss cheese.
BUT, the one injury that is going to sting, Kampmann doubtful, cuncussion. Kampman has'nt lit it up with this 3-4 this year, but last year was top3 in sacks, this boy goes after it all game, big loss.
GB still has thin wr core.
8 sacks last week by TB...:mj07: .
Mcarthy is getting blasted this week because of his comment that he worked the team too hard in practice, FAWK, Lombardi is going to raise up and bitch slap this fool, too hard my arss.
Mr. Rodgers has had the shit kicked out of him this year, the boy is going to be in a wheelchair before the season is done.
This team is in rough shape, and as long as Favre keeps rolling in Minny, the natives are getting restless with Thompson.

have to agree---

have to agree---

Bleedin--now looks like you did hammer the vikes winning the division. Congrats and go ahead and send me your email or contact number...

However, tampaF-inBay, cmon now you make it like the 'Boys are playing in December? Its still November and the 'Boys are rolling...No media circus, no ego trips..., just win baby. Have you seen what the defense has been doing? And still the only game they gave up over 21 was the NYG game. I hope Rodgers goes deep to Jennings a couple times, but even the secondary isn't getting torched because of the d-line pressure. Now its time for that same d-line to play against the swiss cheese gb o-line. Rodgers holds on to the ball way too long, and that will factor into 4-5 sacks, hurries etc...
Watch out, it won't be that easy---thats all I'm saying---

I don't think it matters what anyone thinks about how GB would do in these games. Their not playing them, their playing Dallas. Don't be fooled by Romo the Homo. GB rolls this week. I think BLEEDING has hit the score almost on the head.

I agree, this is a very tough game to call. The line opened at San Fran -6 and has dropped to -3--3.5. I can't get a good read on this game at all especially with it being on a Thursday night, short week for both teams. Should favor San Fran?

as far as I have heard...

as far as I have heard...

Romo is no Homo...but again, I could care less if he continues playing the way he has the past 4 weeks. Don't forget he is from Wisconsin and this is a bit of a homecoming...all I can say is this is the most confident and best chemistry the 'Boys have had in a long time.
I would say that GB has killed lesser opponents this year and have had trouble with quality opponents, that is until last week. It is a must win for them but who have they beat? Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, St Louis? :sadwave:

Good points. This is the NFL, and when a team starts to gel and get a swagger about them, they can rattle off 5 or 6 straight. While others can also tank 4 or 5 in a row. I am in no way spouting blow out, I'm a GB fan, miss Favre more, but any spread under 3 is open season. Typicaly 3 to the home team, that makes this game a 6 point game at nuetral site. Anything around 7 would have me passing on it. Please don't start talking Lambou home field is huge, that chit ended 2 to 3 yrs ago. Yes the fans still bleed green an pee gold, but its not just the same right now. I think GB is going to get worse as the season goes. Mcarthy is just not going to outcoach others, while Dallas gameplan for Philly worked great, they shut down Phillies potent offense at home. Great discussion by the way...:toast:

Being from Dallas, and a huge fam since I was 5, I root for them but I had no clue and no expectations at the beginning of this year. I had them pegged at 8-8 or 9-7, but the turning point was the KC game. If they lose that game, season over plain and simple (have a feeling its the same for philly w/ loss at oak and gb w/ loss to tb). those losses stick around for awhile.
Infact, last year for Dallas it was their loss to the Rams, which I feel was a predictor to how they would end the season.
Romo is money in November, plain and simple, its December that makes all us 'Boys fans cry like little girls. But given the fact, Dallas has Wash and Chi at home the next two games after GB, they are focused and ready for this game. There is no more dissension or headline-grabbing egomaniacs. Its not the same Dallas team. And as much as most people in Dallas do not want to admit, Wade's total control over the defense is working.
I am not saying Dallas beats the crap out of them, and I feel it will be a close game into the 4th quarter. Thats when Barber takes over and uses the massive size of the o-line to run through, and I mean through the defense and run out the clock.

Dallas 27 Pack 20

btw--I still need good games from Grant and Jennings:mj07: :scared

First- I am not going to try to collect on the North bet until it is officially clinched.. Which will be soon.

Philly has a good offense but I think if you shut down Jackson they are easy to stop. I understand that the boys are rolling right now but I think the Pack get it done.. I know their line is in shambles but I think this is the game they will play well.. The Pack hate the Cowboys almost as much as Chico and Minny.. The loss of Tausher and Kampan are no big deal. They were not doing anything on the field to be a loss.. Good job GB implementing the 3 - 4 defense and limiting your best defensive player.. although I would think that defense will improve in years to come. I just think the Packs defense can stop Romo's WRs. I think the DBs outmatch them.. This is still a good spot for the Pack.. Remember what they did to the Colts last year in the same kind of situation I could be wrong but I feel VERY confident aboiut this game. :scared If I lose, I lose. I'll make more tomorrow.

I am dissappointed that you are betting against your own team but if the Pack win you can be happy about that.. What if the Boys win by a point. :142smilie Wouldn't that be a pisser. Anyway, I have picked agaiinst my Vikes this year but never lay money down against them.. If they make it to the SuperBowl, I will surely put a little money on the opposing team ML just to make a little cash to supply my drinking of sadness.

The Packers are not losing because of the decision to get rid of Favre but you are right it is because of Thompson. I know I havd stated this in threads before but you can't expect to win with a shit O - Line and and overrated defense.. His personel moves have been terrible and his build by the draft only system just does not work... McCarthy has to take some of the blame. Why the hell did they cut Rouse? Now he is starting in NY and then they drafted a tackle in thhe 5th round and they tried to clear him through waivers. Buffalo picks him up and he has played well. now he is hurt.. I tried to explain all this to all the fans in my merchandise bet thread but MOST PACKER FANS ARE IN DENIAL THAT THEIR TEAM SUCKS.. Where is WORMDOG anyway? Haven't heard from him since week 1 where he actually posted that the Packers were going to be scary good by the time playoffs roll around.:142smilie :142smilie He was the one who bragged up the Pack and their D by some meaningless pre season games. I hope he hasn't jumped off the ledge because I want to collect from him when it is time.. Even the local bars up here were talking about how the Pack were going to beat the Vikes and then win just about every team on the schedule. Why can't most Packer fans look at it objectively? Even Dave Cynnican on the KFAN radio station was talking about how the Pack were going to roll Tampa, beat Dallas, SF and so on and still fiinish the season at 10 - 6. Reallly? Really? Thats my rant about that.. Now I wonder why I am even betting the Pack this week. LOL. They get it done this week.
