Where it is real F ing COLD
I think anyway..

Minnesota/Detroit UNDER 47 $550/$500

I think this and the Packers are all I am going to play plus dabble a little with 13 point teasers involving the Saints, Purple, and PATS

OK now to this game anyway.. There are a couple factors here... The Vikings have been a pass oriented team for much of the season and even though Peterson's numbers are good they could be much better.. The Vikings have a young center and right tackle who need to get better for playoffs... The Vikes really want to focus on establishing the running game this week. Detroit has a banged up LB core and expect the Vikes to attack it. I think the Vikes want to take some of the strain off of Favre as well.

On the other side of the ball you have a pist off defensive unit. They are not too happy about the second half performances against Baltimore and Green Bay.. Plus the Vikes are coming off the bye week.. EJ Henderson (MLB) and Pat Williams (DT) were coming off of season ending injuries and have been a little slow this year.. Rumor has it that these boys really needed the week off to get rejuvinated and I hear that they are just getting back to normal.. Add to the fact that with Winfield being down the team has had to play with young inexperienced players in Payma and Asher.. Now they have grabbed more experience and have had the bye week to study the opponent.. Now saying all this it will be as shoot out but I expect a 27 - 10 kind of game..
Lets take the man on this one..

Lions defense is bad, allowing 4.7 ypc and next to dead last in pass D. They allowed Seattle to complete 40 passes last game alone.

This bet will have to be based on Minne not running it up and scoring 40. Also think that Det will score more points if.... Culpepper plays.

Just some thoughts.

IX_Bender,

right on the money...

this will be all about game plan..

the smart move is to ballance the attack to get ready for playoffs..

just no guarentee unless you can get some hometown news.

20 is tops for Det...I think 17 is closer..

Trouble is if Brett gets pass happy...wouldn't think so w/slight groin injury but ya never know..

using 60 in a teaser leg should be solid..

that sets up 4th quarter kill by Minn. which should be the case..if not and they are struggling then it's because Det. found a way or was given points by that fall asleep "D" of Minn.

FWIW

Detroit is looking for its first road win since a 16-7 victory at Chicago on Oct. 28, 2007. The Lions have been outscored 151-71 in four losses away from home this season.

I got very lucky in this one.. Vikes had so many chances.. False start on 2nd and 2 from the 5 aand get a fg. Get stuffed on 4th and 3 inches at the 10 and AP get the ball punched out while streaking to the end zone.. I'll take it but wow that was lucky.
