YTD Record: 2-0 for +2.0 units

Four plays from today?s big card:

Ole Miss -15 for 1 unit ? Ole Miss had a very disappointing year last season due to several injuries to key players. I think they are really looking forward to getting on the court and starting it off in a big way.

Northern Illinois +13.5 for 3 units ? Northwestern is improved (again) this year, however their style makes it hard for them to win by this amount even when they have a clear talent advantage. Patton is a veteran coach though that should have his guys ready for the Wildcats methodical offense and can keep this close. Biggest thing though is the injuries to Northwestern. Their star forward Kevin Coble is out about a month due to injuring his foot in practice this week. Also their 7 foot center Rowley, who was a starter last year, has not practiced much due to recovering from a broken foot in late summer. Being a big guy (280 lbs) he will not be in game shape if he does play.

Georgetown -10.5 for 3 units ? Tulane has a very undersized front-court which will equate to a huge game for Greg Monroe. Travelling down to Tulane and being a double digit favorite would normally scare me away. However, considering it is the first game of the season I think you will see a very focused Hoya team.

N. Mexico St. +7.5 for 1 unit ? St. Mary?s is as tough a place to play as any in the mid-major ranks, maybe the entire country. However, the Aggies return all their starters while everyone knows that the Gaels lost a ton of talent. Should be a close game throughout.

GL guys.

Good Luck with N.M. St.
I wanted to take them too but both starting Forwards are suspended till December. Also they have a BIG rivalry game next vs. NM. If you know, thats a HUGE game to the community... I think NM st. is still a great play but I decided to pass. I hope you get it.

adding another small play:

N. Iowa -3.5 for 1 unit - they are hyped this year, but I think they can handle it.
