YTD Record: 7-3 for +7.5 units

One play today:

Auburn -5 for 3 units - Auburn had a close call against a good Niagra club on Friday. The issue was they shot 35% and 18% behind the arc. This team is a better shooting club than that, off night can be attributed to the rust in the first game but also the fact that Niagra is a good defensive club. They ranked 53rd in the nation last year in FG defense and return 4 starters from that team. Tonight's opponent Missouri State is far from that good defensively (they ranked 235 last year). Expect a better shooting Auburn team, especially from behind the arc.

GL Guys.

Sorry I didn?t mention Waller in my post above, was in a hurry and didn?t get a chance to go into the injury. Waller is out and there isn?t a definite timeline for when he will return, perhaps at least another week out for him. The good thing for Auburn is that there non-conference is pretty weak and they can afford to rest Waller until he is fully healed. It?s also good that their freshman guards/wings Ross and Malone are going to be getting more playing time early. These guys both got increased minutes in the game against Niagara (Ross started for Waller) and performed well. They chipped in a combined 14 points but the better stat is that they had only 1 turnover between them in the game. Considering that Niagara has some great guard play, especially defensively (was 5th in the nation in steals last year) this is a good sign. Missouri State doesn?t not have the talent to compete with Auburn and I think these freshman and the whole team will show that tonight.
