BG - what time does the UNA-Carson Newman kick? I will probably be on the other side, but for a small play. CN is weak in the secondary and UNA's QB and top 3 receivers are all D1 transfers

I coached at UNA for two years and they have tried to win championships by getting D1 rejects, flunkies, and convicts for years and it seems to me that it only gets them so far. There is a reason they are rejects and they cannot get the TEAM mentality to win it all like they had back in the early to mid 90s.

Does Carson Newman play at NW Mizzou next week?

I don't know what years you were at UNA but when they won their NC's in the mid 90's they were giving out somewhere in the range of 60 scholarships while the rest of D2 was at 36. Obviously they got caught and haven't been the same since, did you know what the truth of that story is?

I know because North Dakota went down there in '94 I think and just got rolled, way too much speed on the field for UNA.
