anyone else think they are handling this tiger ordeal with kid gloves?
they've let this bs story go unchallenged for days.

Also not a peep about the NBA gambling story possibly involving multiple referees.

Disney owned corporation ..

ESPN has no obligation to dig into the story.

and is wise to stay the hell out of it..

TMZ and others do a great job of covering soap operas and trainwrecks so anyone who wants the dirt can get it.

I'll agree to disagree on the tiger issue. No obligation on NBA games being fixed on a relatively big scale?

fwiw- The CBS nightly news just came on the television in the other room, Tiger is the lead story.

for what little it's worth, here's my take on it... everybody is jumping to conclusions about tiger, myself included. my theory is that elin was beating him with the golf club before he even got into the escalade. :) but to be perfectly fair... tiger woods really does deserve the benefit of the doubt. other than his caddy being a complete dick, what has tiger ever done wrong? the man has made people care about golf again. well, some people. but seriously, until the facts are known, or at least the police investigation is complete, how much more to the story is there right now?

I'd love to know what happened to Tiger but how is it any of our fucking business?

arguably its the publics business once 911 is called, property is damaged, and the authorities are involved.

But I wasn't really speaking about that. I just found it strange, everyone I saw this weekend, every sports radio program, and every news outlet was pounding this story, but the WORLD WIDE LEADER, other than a small scroll mention was for the most part almost ignoring it, and not questioning or investigating anything.

I disagree and it seems like the law in Florida disagrees with you too. Tiger is not obligated to talk.

Someone said it above, but ESPN radio was all over it today.

he`s the biggest star in sports....it s a police matter....the particulars are strange,to put it mildly...
he was injured and it doesn`t sound like he has a reasonable explanation...

he turned down 3 police requests to be interviewed...

you have to have lived in a refrigerator box not to get that stars get the perks and the publicity(when it`s good for them and bad)....

goes with the territory...

ESPN radio is caller driven, and like I stated everyone in the world is talking about it, so of course a radio show would be. I'm talking about the multiple ESPN networks, including ESPN news.

Just curious, who do you think wipes out a fire hydrent, and tree, and is treated by authorities unconscious in the St., yet avoids a breathalyzer?
