New guy here. All plays will be for simply one unit in order to keep a truthful and easy to compile record.
I see that some here keep a solid record but many don't keep a W L record at all. I have enjoyed reading many of your posts here as I have lurked for years but must admit that the guys that keep an honest record are the only players that I even consider as respectable cappers. I do make an exception for Box and one and Raymond I love reading their stuff even though I don't know that if either is a 50% or 60% capper or what. Still, I respect them both.

Anyways, I hope to become an asset to this great forum in any way I can.

First Play: Akron /Tex AM over 135

I follow both of these teams a little and like the fact that its the Aggies 2nd in three days while going into finals no less, while the fresh Zips looked pretty good in their last game and have looked at lots of film. I think that Akron will look to get out on the break whenever possible and try to get A&M into an up tempo affair.

Good luck to everybody!!

Thanks gents, the best to you as well.

Also going to buck the system and make a play on Akron -7 for the first half. The Zips have improved after a rough start. The reason? Well they are learning to play with a genuine game changer in the middle. 7' cente Zeke Marshall is still developing on the offensive end but is really a good defensive center right now. The Zips can play the perimeter D and gamble a bit knowing that Zeke is in the middle.

Might just be a good time to catch A&M napping a bit early tonight and Akron figures to do nothing but improve as the season rolls on.I can't play them real heavy because they are still learning and inconsistant but there is some good talent on that team

Akron +7' first half.

Good luck

second half

Akron/ A&M over 67' pace wasn't bad but shooting was horrible. They can get over this number.

Akron +6' fought back after it looked like they may get blown out. just a hunch that they hang around till the end.

Also a late call on:

Canisius -1'

One last play as i have to sadly admit to a big sky fetish.

Montana St -1

I missed the memo that said that N Colorado would be undefeated at this point. I really think they just may leave the ranks of the undefeated tonight. The Bears are a tough gritty team but I think that a veteran Montana St team should be up to task of defending their floor. Shoud be a good one and the Bobcats get my money here.

Sorry for the late post but I usually split the card into sections and often don't cap the late games until its pretty deep into the night

Good luck all

Not a bad result in the A&M game but it could have been better. The Aggies enjoyed a huge advantage at the stripe even though Akron out rebounded them. Not going to complain too much as that is what pushed the game over.

free throws:

Zips: 9/13
A&M: 27/36

Ballgame.

A&M better step it up if they wish to continue to reside in the top 25. I've been watching the Aggies closely this season and think that they are ripe for the picking. Will continue to play against.

Yes and I agree ! I am a huge fan of the sport. In fact,my wife and I just bought into a real nice NY yearling out of Bettors Delight and a Panderosa mare. He will start his serious training for his 2yr old season in about one month, knock on wood.

I told my wife long ago that if we couldn't beat 'em we may as well join 'em.

How about you??

Horses

I have a trotting mare that I bred to Cash Hall last year. She had a filly in March and she is back in foal again to the same stallion. I went to the Morrisville sale to try and buy a yearling but I didn't see anything I loved.
Hopefully , Cash Hall has some good two year olds race next summer . I don't plan to sell. I am going to race in the NYSS hopefully. The money is awesome and if you have a young trotter that can stay flat, you can come in third and still make a profit.
It's too early to tell ...but "Hope srrings eternal"

What trainer are you going to send your two year old to? And where is the horse now? I love Bettor's delight. He is the best stallion in the state. I went to the Night of Champions at Vernon and all his offspring won that night.

I remember Cash Hall well. As I recall out of Self Possessed but I might be wrong about that. Most of all, I remember that time trial down at jug week. The crowd went nuts! greatest racing fans anywhere. Hope that your fillies pan out well for you, seems like they have every chance to be very good. Let me know when they are ready to race so I can keep an eye on them. I will do the same in return.

I just sit back and let the people that know what they are doing take care of things. He was fairly pricey so I have just a piece of him. He's now in the Linda Toscano barn and doing very well from all reports. You are correct about the money up there, just unreal. Even after the NYSS, you can still make some damn good money with some decent stock.

If and when he races in the NYSS perhaps we may meet someday.I live in the midwest but I'm not all that far from Buffalo and Batavia, but we also try to manage to get up to Yonkers and the Big M from time to time. If he turns out to be decent, I am sure that we will get over there to watch him on occasion.

Best of luck, and keep in touch. pronised my wife some Christmas shopping today :( :sadwave:
