This becomes a pretty large play if Eli Holman returns for the Titans. The big IU transfer banged up his knee against DePaul and he missed the Youngstown game. Sadly, his status may be one of those game time decisions but I will attempt to find out for sure prior to tip. I'm playing the game regardless but will go much smaller if I can't get anything on Eli.
The improved Titans didn't need Holman thursday as they took care of the Penguins without him. It got a little too close for comfort as Detroit had to withstand a late charge from YSU but they managed to pull away at the end. Cleveland St is just a shell of the very good team that knocked off Butler for the Horizon title last year. Gone are the talents of Bulluck and Jackson and the Vikings should continue to struggle as the level of talent that Gary Waters enjoyed last season just isn't there.
Hope to have a few more as I get into the card further.
