4-3 after princeton noshows, here's couple to start today:

uncw -1: this line is suffering from a little lag from last year, seahawks are much improved in the frontcourt and it should show today on the boards.

uncg +14: i know the sammies have played a rough road schedule, but this line posits that a 2-5 team that will score 55-60 points today can cover a 14 point line.

davidson +2: mckillop teams always step up when soco play starts; cremins' coc notorious slow starters, still seemed to be looking for something while stumbling past ga southern and committing 23 turnovers in the process. wildcats are still discounted a little too much for the loss of curry.

citadel -5-: i trust the bulldogs to avoid the 0-2 conference start in this spot more than ga southern, who were easily handled by the aforementioned sloppy coc night before last.

furman -3-: this line just smells a little fishy to me. catamounts just notched a big home win over wofford while the paladins (my favorite team moniker) were quitely notching their second road win in boone as 10- point dogs. furman greatly improved over last year's dismal team and western isn't that goodt a road team, and is especially out of their comfort zone as a road favorite.

austin peay -6-: ready to buy in on this game now with eiu getting all the love. gov's dave loos dean of the ovc notched nice ot win for his 400th thursday night over a scrappy se mo. meanwhile panthers were pulling out a triple overtime victory in nashville. eiu plays a six man rotation so their starters logged - get this - 52, 38, 48, 36 and 46 minutes. tonight they finally miss romain martin.

thx for the Citadel win Steve. I was going to leave them alone after the bitter pill in their last game. NCST looking good today.
