One of the most intrieging games today.Nova is in for a battle and Fran has bought the Owls back but Nova has the great gd play.
Johnnies -22 over Fordham *
Johnnies giving 22 pts to anybody is a risk.Rams are devasted they lost top player Fontan.Gaston is tough but Rams can't shoot,rebound or play defense.Johnnies are athletic with Kennedy,Evans and Horne.Then 6'10 Coker played 20 minutes the other day.He looked good....a work in progress for a few years...small play.
North Texas -12 over UL-Monroe **
NT has depth,playing at home,athletic,guys going "solo" shooting from everywhere,etc...think they play tough today in Sun Belt opener.
UTEP -17 over New Mex St **** *
strong play
Miners have been off 2 weeks...there last game was NM St and they beat them by around 20 pts at there place.Miners are home tonite and will win this by 20 or more.Culpepper is tough with his 4 teammates avg in double figures.Throw in 6'9 250 pound ex-louisville center Character makes his debut tonite...
