wind advisory in effect this afternoon and tonight 2 pm through midnight.

wind speeds 25-35 mph with gust up to 55 mph

rain between 3pm and midnight.

The wind rips through sam boyd, it is in a valley, have seen winds like this many times, hell have winds at least 5 times a year blowing 45-55 and gust up to 75 mph only seen stuff like that in fl on the beach.

Right now it is only about 10-15 mph at times. heading out to watch hoops tourney then the fb game good luck.

wind is starting to kick up around 18-20 and freaking cold, has dropped 10 degrees in last hour, will update winds right up till i take off.

now we are getting ready to head out, had 2 gust about hour ago 1 was 49 mph other was 57 mph lasted about 4-5 secs, now wind has slacked off steady at about 12-17 a few small gust over 24, sky is getting dark behind sheep mts that is where wind will blow hardest from out of that direction, it is comming and going in bands as this is 2 different pressure systems, so will be off and on in bands, sam boyd is a wind bowl , it is in flat spot nothing around to break the wind, all open 1 of lowest places in the area. good luck hard to say when and how long wind will hit at, it will be come and go thou till after midnight. it is also a cross wind right now for the most part.

If it gets steady ov 25 will call fred and he will post it.

Nice write up just too many bad fucking beats. Got killed because of the bullshit fumble in FH and Backdoor TD in 2nd just to name a few. Over was destined to hit Fuck me!@!!

juji you are right the 1st byu score really hurt drive into a unreal wind, made 3 3rd down conf due to the flaf on oregon.st can't do that stop them 3 times just to give them more chances , then that stupid backwards pass, my dad would of shit then gone nuts, you never throw a pass bakwards he was big on that, throw it out infront if it is not caught then it is just a inc. pass, it was a poor pass by the qb got to lead you man on a swing pass.

was cold as i have felt in along time out here , wind just flat out sucked. was let down bigtime not because i lost but this was billed as one of the better bowl match-ups well it was not, hope my gator bowl is a better game, have been to 3 with wvu that have not been to good 2 with fsu this will be # 3. glad hoops helped me out. game was really bad and very windy.

got to run to watch rest of hawaii game, good luck. Really thought under was the way to go with the hard cross wind then it changed directions but was still very very hard blowing.

also my weather was right on hell i am here,all but the rain, match-up had everything it could of ask for when looking for the under, you don't get wind like that and a line of 58-59, the wind like that is something i beg for, this was not just some blowing wind, it had over 8 gust that hit over 45 mph high was 59, they have a wind meter on the score board to watch, but still with all in my favor somethings went wrong that cost the total and cost seeing a good game.

i respect all of you as cappers and follow each of youll from time to time, but it is best to do your own studying. this was a over game from the start, and byu was the correct play as i knew there so so defense would step up. it was almost a homefield advantage and no not because of the refs. oregon st played a sloppy game, if u take away the two brothers. YOU HAVE THEM BEAT. great coaching by byu. this game would have been a shootout in rain sleet or snow lol, beacuse of oregons speed. but byu would have their defensive stand as they did. i guess i should have posted but i will post my other 3 bowl games i am playing.
