Minnesota cruised to 11-1. Favre had 23 TD's to 4 INT's. MVP chatter. SB chatter. Favre looked bad on the road 2 weeks ago vs Arizona. Then came home and shredded a very good Cincinatti team 30-10. Now they go into Carolina and get manhandled once again on primetime. Though Favre is still 27 TDs to 7 ints with a 104.1 QB rating (2nd best behind only Brees) in all of NFL.

Now the media. Chilly this. Chilly that. Favre and Childress heated argument. Childress wanted to bench FAVRE on 3 separate occasions. Things are not so ROSY in Minnesota. Favre episode inevitable.........

Favre irked Childress wanted him out !

The media is clearly setting up the public for future games. People are already talking Minnesota will be one and done in the playoffs. :mj07: Media loves to do this. Take a story of nothing and make it headline news and ESPN reports it every hour on ESPN NEWS and SPORTSCENTER. Watch how this effects the future lines and public persuasion of betting against the Minnesota Vikings and Mr.Favre.

Where it is real F ing COLD
It is hard to get a handle on what is going on.. I know this.. They could be one and done but I think the Vikes have far more problems than Favre. Like lack of holes for Peterson and poor pass blocking for starters. Just hoping for the best. They need to get that 2nd seed

I agree to a certain extent. That's what makes gambling so hard. Everyone will bet against Minny because of this and they will win big this week. Although I do like teams who are playing there best football now, as opposed to earlier in the year to do well in the playoffs.

I think Favre and Childressset this up to divert attention from the team's problems. I believe behind the scenes, the team is coming together and rallying against the media/public perception.

They can (will?) work out their problems before the playoffs. I look for them to bring it in Chicago on Monday night.:mj06:

Just my 2 cents.....

Just my 2 cents.....

I think Childressset knows brett is getting tired. Look at his stats in the first part of the year, and look atthem the past couple. He wanted farve to rest his old weary bones for the playoffs.

Does this ESPN media BS ever stop

Does this ESPN media BS ever stop

Now all ESPN is reporting is ex-teammate LEROY BUTLER calls FAVRE A DIVA. How many times will this scroll across the bottom of my tv on ESPN ? Funny how Favre is on ESPN on MONDAY NIGHT.
