If Alabama was playing the Taliban, I'd wrap a towel around my head, eat tapas bread, deal opium, and move to afganistan.

I hate the University of Alabama and everyone affiliated with it with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns.

Fuck Bama.

Hook 'em.
Hysterical! This is what makes college football so great, the rivalries.

Food for thought: I have heard about how tough the Texas Run D is so I thought I would check it out. Here are their opponent rankings in FBS Rushing (120 teams):

23. Oklahoma St. 187.77
30. Texas A&M 184.15
31. La.-Monroe 183.92
58. UTEP 151.08
62. Nebraska 147.07
74. Wyoming 136.15
77. Oklahoma 134.62
82. UCF 130.54
85. Missouri 127.00
100. Kansas 112.08
108. Baylor 100.58
113. Colorado 87.92
115. Texas Tech 84.00

How about that Texas Run D! :mj07:

Now I know why I just couldn't see it

The SEC has won six BCS championships in 12 years. The other conferences combined have six to match the SEC.

I was really wanting Texas to win as well and who knows how things play out if he stays in? Maybe McElroy is forced to throw more and rushes? Maybe they are up 10-0, 14-0, who knows?

You also have to look at it from the other side as well. Saban would not have completely sat on the ball in the second half. Bama's defensive scheme would have changed. McCoy would have faced much more pressure.

The only thing that is certain is the Texas's rush defense was gashed and proof that their rush d was way overrated. They gave up more rush yards against Bama than the following teams:
Auburn
LSU
Tennessee
Arkansas
Kentucky
Ole Miss

And don't start in with "well of course they had more run yards because Texas never had the ball, blah, blah, blah" That is BS - Saban practically waved his arms and told the defense he was going to run. Hell for two thirds of the second half he basically took a knee.

Would have loved to see that game with McCoy, but to say that with him it was over is a joke. Rushing defense tells me all I need to know.

Still though - BUCK FAMA:mj07:

You are providing a lot of helpful, insightful, analysis after the game is over. This is pretty easy. How much did you win on the game?Otherwise, why don't you quit bumping your obnoxious thread. The game was hopelessly skewed by McCoys injury,so get over yourself and go away for a while.

I actually had Bama -4 and Texas +7, so I lost juice, but I started this thread, didn't feel like retyping stats, so copied and pasted.

BTW - I started this thread, have every right to comment, and if you don't like it - fuck off

I did and have not attacked anyone, anytime, (even though you attacked me in my own thread) so don't bring that shit to me you fucking douche.

Hell I wanted Texas to win but I read in every other thread how the SEC had no offense and wanted to post FACTS after the game instead of SPECULATING how things might have been
