I must have lucked out. I followed him a bit in college hoops and he pretty much killed it when I was following him. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I tailed every play or anything, but when I did tail he hit the majority of his plays. The only problem was he always posted a couple of minutes before tip-off. I just assumed he was a line movement guy or something.

The only capper who was better at college hoops that I saw on here was The Wizzard. That guy was pretty ridiculous. Not sure if he still posts.

I actually thought that UT-Longhorn guy was a super succesful capper. If what you are saying about him is true, then I feel stupid for believing his posted records. But he aint the only one on these boards that toots their own horn about their winning records....

Don't mean to qoute your post (I lied... Yes I do) but I really get a laugh out of this. Successful? There is no such thing as a successful capper IMO.

I have been doing this for over 30 years and I have never met anyone who was successful except when they baited others into buying their picks. I could be wrong but I doubt it.Yes some have a good year or two but I would be willing to bet that over time that is not the case.

99% of all gamblers have no discipline. While some may post a winning record I doubt that is actually all that they have bet. That is not to say that someone couldn't have won $$ over time but I doubt it.

Gamblers are worse than a golfer at a bar talking about how he shot a 78 and then when you ask him to shoot a round one day he shoots a 110.

Prime example was a few years back at this Forum some gamblers had a good run during football season and everyone thought they where gods. The sheep or I mean followers would have deep throated a horse if they could. Everyone lined up to hail CEASER and they would have had their babies if possible. Well guess what.... they went pay (Shocking) and before you knew it the walls had crumbled down. Complaints came from everywhere. People bashed them for losing and the sheep stood by them though giving them $$$. Many posted the so-called experts losing plays. And there were many. How dare someone do that! Call someone out. WTF?

Excuses flew like someone getting caught jacking off to porn. They ranged from....It was tremendous pressure for them to pick winners for others. My favorite one was that some expressed guilt. I bet guilt wasn't felt taking other peoples money. It went on and on.

It became even more comical as the days passed.Tears flowed, the abortion clinics where getting calls, some may have been on suicide watch. The so called touts...OOOOOOOOOP's I can't say that. I mean the betting experts threatened to leave the board. Alway's love that threat. I mean could anyone be begging for anymore attention for themselves then to say I will leave (that usually means they will come back under a different name by the way). Many screamed foul !!!Many begged them to stay. How dare someone talk shit about about my POOKIE! It was a soap opera. Anyone who has been here for years know's what I am talking about.

Now, all of these so called experts are back on board again. I am sure they are waiting for that miracle season again so they can bait the fishies and make $$$ the easy way.

If it is so easy to do why does anyone need to sell their picks? Why not give them away for free. I mean come on... they are already making millions from their winning picks. Right? Never undertsood the concept of selling those winners since they are winning $$ from betting. Or are they actually? Oh that's right they are spending 23 hours a day getting the info that you cannot find.

UT is a prime example of this and like many others he hides the truth about it all.

Gambling is for entertainment and you should only bet what you can afford to lose. I would be curious to see how many betting thousands each week on this board are actually only bringing home a few hundred a week.

Good luck to all!

Very interesting... UT Longhorn has emailed me several times a few years ago. He never tried to con me or anything. The only interest he ever had was how the service that he used to prescribe to is doing because I also bought the same service.

"the bunker"
if he was able to scam people into buying his picks, then i guess the guy really was successful...

those that got suckered deserved to get suckered...the law of natural de-selection...

People say they dont care what he posted elsewhere, it's not part of his record. Ok, well, focus on what he posted here. About 80% winners, from what I saw. Shame he was driven away.

Ha ha, that was an amusing post! I used to think the same thing, that there was no such thing as a 'successful capper'. Yet, I was blown away at the amount of 'winners' on these boards. The posters I have been observing seem legitimate because they post all plays BEFORE the game starts and only post records of their posted plays. Of course, I haven't been on these boards for as long as you have so if you say these 'winners' have had their share of losing seasons, then I will have to take your word for it. One thing I have started to notice is how some posters keep an ultra-accurate record of their posted plays when they are ahead, but after a couple of losing weeks they seem to get amnesia and stop posting their overall records.
