Got this from the Omaha World Herald.

Nebraska AD Tom Osborne has had talks with Boise State and offered a two-for-one series -? the common offer for a non-BCS school, with two trips to Lincoln. Reportedly BSU gets these offers a lot. The Broncos' attitude is that they're above that now.

A source at NU told me recently that Boise wanted a $1 million guarantee to come to Lincoln one time.

Most non-BCS schools get about $600,000 to $800,000 to come to NU.

Boise said they'd travel with no return game, so this is a bit surprising. . . . well, not really

Different negotiation, that was just to fill their vacant 2011 spot. The 2 for 1 wasn't considering that and was to start in 2015.

Dirty Diapers - you are right, Boise is better than Nebraska right now. It would be great if Nebraska hadn't fallen so far and wouldn't have to worry about accomodating mid-major needs. It would be great if they could be at the level where they got offered to go to the GMAC bowl against a mid-major but decided that wasn't best for them.

Good to see Cincy football fans still getting put in their place. I was worried about them getting too obnoxious.

Other than that, how's life? Hoping we can land Cooper instead of him heading east to South Bend on signing day.

Giving the Northern Illinois fans their come-uppence as well.

Not worrying about recruiting until signing day. It's all a sham, no one knows nothing and it's just creepy spending time on a 17-year olds decision . . . but good luck with Cooper as long as he's not a lineman

Cooper is a Safety from Proviso East. Word is he is likely in the fold and perhaps the 5 star DE from Portland - Odighizuwa. Good to get some of the table scraps from the $C fallout.

Not a complete rock star class but if they can land Tommie Frazier's cousin from Brandenton, I'll be a happy camper.

Actually the point I was trying to make was the fact that Boise gets these offers all the time and rejects them. Bronco Stadium's capacity is only 35,000 so its simply not a sound financial decision to simply play a home and home with Boise. TV money or no TV money, the payout simply isn't enough for the BSC schools not to expect Boise to travel twice.
