Guys I am the first to say that I know nothing about hockey, but I am on this forum everyday to see what Willie's got.

My expertise, as my friend Canada Man can attest to, is basketball, and I like to think I know both college and NBA better than most.

I don't know about you, but I hate paying juice, and I cannot stomach ever paying more than -130 on any bet. My goal is to never pay juice period. How do I do it? Simple. I eliminate juice by playing 2 or 3 game parlays, parlaying any individual bet with a big favorite or 2 in NBA or college on the ML.

Last night was a perfect example, as I used Raptors and Celtics ML to make my Flyers bet + money instead of -170 or whatever it was. Sometimes if Willie has a dog as a golden, I will take them at +1.5 with a ML or 2 and also get that juice free.

So if anyone is interested in pursuing this strategy, I can list a couple of ML's that should be safe for parlays each night, and maybe a couple to stay away from. As you guys know in hockey, its a lot more then just seeing which teams are the biggest faves (case in point Pittsburgh the other night), but with basketball, I know the trends and recent streaks of each team, and I can help you guys cut your juice significantly, if not eliminate it altogether.

I will keep a record, though I will be severely disappointed if my record is less than 80%, considering I am only taking favorites on the ML.

If no one responds to this thread then I won't bother, but if you think this would help you let me know and I will post nightly.

Mods, even though these will be exclusively basketball picks, they are appropriate in this forum for the reasons above.

Tonight I like Atlanta (-650) and San Antonio (-1100) in the NBA. A 3-gamer with those 2 and a -170 play will be roughly even money.

In college there are 4 big favorites that shouldn't have much trouble winning their games. They are Indiana St (-1100), Villanova (-1600), San Diego St. (-1400) and Missouri (-2000). All 6 with a play over -400 will be even money, though what I do is only add enough teams to make the bet at least +100. As soon as I add enough teams to make the bet + something I stop. I don't get greedy and try to get +200 or something.

In order I would list them as follows:
Atlanta
Missouri
San Diego St.
indiana St.
Villanova
San Antonio

I do fully expect all 6 to win, but like i said, better not to get greedy. Atlanta along with 1 or 2 of the college teams should get even all +1.5 hockey bets to +100 or better.

BOL on whoever you bet on.

Indiana St. loses to Ball Sack, I mean Ball State...what a disgrace.....

But the other 5 teams did what they were supposed to:
Atlanta winning by 35
Missouri winning by 28
San Diego state winning by 14
Villanova winning by 8
San Antonio winning by 12

So the record after 1 day is 5-1, which is what I expect. I should not lose more than 1 out of every 5.

I really do wish you the best of luck, but I am yet to see someone last and profit more than a short while... I am interested in watching you prosper the next 3 months with or without that high % and see where the bankroll is in regards to starting bankroll %...

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I sure helps at times!!

I sure helps at times!!

I like tossing some of this heavy chalk into a parlay to punch it up. Ya see some in NHL too, like Dallas +1.5 -320 tonight.

I like taking some choices from russellk threads a lot! :00hour

Theboundbook is right tho...."Eating chalk" by putting it in parlays is a psychological advantage, not a mathematical one. You are still betting into that heavy chalk.
