Kent -2 Tough one to pick due to the fierce rivalry but Kent has the guard play to hold serve at home.

Bite your tongue, Humpty and McNees to the rescue with a breakout game coming from Marshall. Just a hunch but look out for Mclanahan off the bench today... just a feeling but I think he is getting his eye and aggressiveness back.

Anyway I did put a phone call in for ya and am waiting to hear back from my source. I hope it all works out.

I honestly hope you are correct but I have to bet from my head and not my heart. other than J Woods big hoop, I have very few pleasant memories
from the MAC Center.

On the other front, it looks like we are in good shape. Don't know if you know Jacki, but she's on it and the staff as a whole seems very receptive. I believe its now just down to looking over the players schedules to find a good date and time. I do appreciate your efforts and I extend an invitation to you to come as my guest. Just let me know if you can make it.

Got anything live at Buffalo tonight?

It is pretty simple. I do not think that Groce can coach his way out of a paper bag and the Cats miss Coleman to a large extent. I just have to continue to fade OU. Also the 'Cats bigs are awful. If Buff. can keep Bassett under control they win.

I will give you the fact that OU is a very desperate team and will come out with a top effort. I just don't think they are good enough and I also believe that cappers place way too much importance on a teams last game. I prefer to look at the body of work as a whole.

Good luck hawk and Oak !!

2H play:

Akron / Kent St over 72'

lots of whistles as the officials attempt to keep this often chippy rivalry under control. OT a real possibility as well.

thanks for the reply .... looked at it and Buf is a little better on the road than i had heard. But the fact that Ohio is only giving up 63 a game at home is a little scary. The injury to the guard appears to be a plus as well, but i really don't know their depth. Line up to 4 now...if i was going to play this, in what appears to be a tight, low scoring game, i think i would be on your side as well and take the points.

one sunday play

one sunday play

94-66

Very disappointed with a 2-3 day yesterday after losing a large play on Detroit. The Titans threw the ball all over the damn gym and all the TO's killed them, taking me along for the ride.

Have no idea why I posted sunday's play in saturday's thread. Perhaps that it came at 3AM may be the answer. Anyways, A badly needed win to right the ship.

I have really accomplished most of my goals for the season so I will be cutting back on the posts and only go with the very strongest of plays from here forward untill bracket buster saturday. Maybe just one or two plays a week.
