"That was the game that I wanted to come back," said Anthony of Friday's game against the Thunder. "That was the game the trainers were kind of scared of, that it was going to swell on the plane. But the good thing that we can take from not playing in Oklahoma City is it gave me another 24 hours to rest.

"I'm better, much better. I'm going to try before the game, but it felt good (in practice Saturday). It's the first time that I actually got a chance to run and cut and do a lot of things."

Question

Question

Pitt doesn't scare you? That line is fishy as hell, almost "too easy"??

What do you think about Florida? Vols are desperate and at home I know, but the Gators have been playing good ball of late. Might be able to get 9 by gametime. Like the under there too.:0corn

On my college scan those are 2 that i have identified to look further at -- like Pitt and think this may be Tenn spot to allow FLa in for possible upset, so love +8.5

1st play today:director:

Nuggets +5

Had a strong lean to under, but the numbers I run had it at 201 so I feel the stronger play is Denver.

For those who care, the Boston game is a system play OVER at 195.5 or below.

:bigear: Did someone say THUNDER??

:00hour :Yep: :s6: :142hail: :00x15 :00x9

not talking you out of them...i know the love runs deep, but some trends of caution:
Warriors are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5.
Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games.
Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a road underdog.
Warriors are 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Oklahoma City.
Road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
Warriors are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games as an underdog.
Thunder are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a SU win of more than 10 points.

The 8.5 gets me nervous though

"The love runs deep" :142smilie

Ya, I took a look and actually lean GSW :scared

One scary trend for those considering the Celts,
they have also lost 8 of the last 10 games against the spread when playing their 3rd game in four days.

Laker at Celts:

What I see here is a Celt team that is not in form right now. I thought after they put together back to back wins early in week they may have turned corner - but they were vs lesser competition - and then they lose 2 in a row. Lakers on this horrible schedule of of 8 straight road game - are doing very good at 4-2 right now....BUT if the Zen master is going to tout this trip as a "success" - he MUST win one of the 2 marque games: Clev and Boston. So I see a tremendous effort out of LA. I also like some of the trends Illuminati had here. Add in Lakers are spotlight studs being 6-1 last 7 Sundays. I will discount the Lakers poor success vs Boston due to my original statement of them being "not in form" - they are a streaky team...just not on one right now.

Hitting the Lakers pk for 2 units

SAN ANTONIO ? Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been ruled out of today?s game against the Spurs at the AT&T Center after going through some pre-game drills.

It means Anthony will miss his fourth straight game. Nuggets coach George Karl said Anthony wasn?t entirely comfortable with his ability to run and cut in a game that expected to be fast-paced. Barring any setbacks, the plan, Karl said, is to have the Nuggets? leading scorer play in tomorrow night?s game against Sacramento.

It means Anthony will finish January having played just six of the possible 15 games.
