Yeah....because the book is scamming you.......it wouldn't be "generally accepted" if books gave ya better odds that is for sure:mj07:
But perhaps "scamming" is a tad harsh, Judge is right in that it is the customers responsibility. If you are dumb enough to play at a book that doesn't give true parlay odds and you bet on a parlay then nobody to blame but yourself.
But do find it quite funny when Judge says "generally accepted", yeah.....BY THE SPORTSBOOKS:tongue
But if I ran a book I'd do the same thing......sportsbooks make a ton of money by not offering true odds on a parlay, a ton. And most customers don't even realize they are getting screwed. So I don't blame the books for doing what they do. Why change if you make tons of cash and 90 percent of your clients don't even know what is going on?
I just love how a book "puts out a chart" and everyone just says "hey that is what the chart says".
Charts are not true odds......but customers fall for it all the time.
And for the record there are many books that offer true odds on all parlays, just gotta find em. If you don't play parlays then who cares, but if ya do, why the hell would ya play at a book that doesn't give ya true odds:shrug:
