That looks real solid people dont realize how good the white sox are they have one of the best bullpens in majors and teahan is a real solid pick up at 3rd base plus if jenks goes down they can plug putz or linebrink into the closer role.

True about any of the above:
why tie up your money for 8-9 months when you can turn it over--again and again--on short-term plays, i.e. single-gamage.

Long-term plays are a waste, unless they are golden and pay substantial odds.

As for betting season win totals, I think they are just as 'good' of a bet as any other wager that you make after research, etc. Yeah its $ out of your account for multiple months, but if you can't handle that, then don't bet it. Don't call it a bad bet though.

The key is to continue to roll your account over if you are making +EV wagers. Taking a sum of that cash to place futures lowers your bet size. IMO its not worth it. I'd rather roll over my bankroll X number of times. To each his own though.

I think the Whitesox are good but I would still be a little bit leary.. Starting staff is good but the bullpen is no guarantee... Jenks coming off injury and the same with Putz.. Putz getting a little bit older as well.. One more point is this team is going to struggle scoring runs. I mean big time.. Did somebody mention Teahan? OVER RATED!! The starting pitching is going to have to be amazing for them this year, but at the same time the team should be able to beat up on the Indians and Royals and do OK against the Tigers when Verlander is not pitching..

looking at the new posted numbers the nyy are the only one i trust..looks to me like an easy 100 win season, even with injuries..plus jeter is on the backend of his career so i expect him to push the guys very hard..can't even pick out a sure under as the cubs and mets were my first choice but that was when they needed 90 wins..

So much for my first impression. Arizona has dropped 4.5 games, lol. The more I have studied the more I like Colorado too. Hope that doesn't scare you. :scared

Homer play but I like th Rangers this year to win the division and over the total. I expect they could win as many as 93-95 games. Rangers have always lacked pitching, but this year could be a repeat of last season. If Harden stays healthy, some of thier young arms carry over from last year and Hamilton has an average season this could be the Rangers year.

Baseball Prospectus has them projected at a 85-77 record fwiw. I tend to agree with that.
