If you don't know already - here is the trailer for the sequel. That douche kid from Transformers is in it - that is the only thing going against this movie, but you have to admit - Gekko is back and I think that is a good thing. The man you love to hate.

Disturbia was terrible as was Bobby and Eagle Eye.
Greatest Game Ever Played was ok I guess but miles behind many other golf flicks.

Charlies Angels 2 was brutal as well.

This kid has been given the label of the next great thing. So far he has put out 150% crap.

You are naming bad movies. That doesn't mean he performed poorly in the bad movies.

Name an actor, and I will tell you multiple fucking terrible movies that they were in.

He's still young, and I think he has a lot of potential.

I didn't think Eagle Eye was "terrible". Not great, but not terrible, either.

Geez! It sounds like I have his Teen People poster on my wall or something... which I DON'T!!!!

Eagle Eye was ridiculous and bad.

As for his acting, I think he tries to hard and over acts(watch Disturbia). The facial expressions and things he makes are just not real.
Maybe its just me. I guess that I am not in touch with the 14 year old girl that is supposed to be somewhere inside me if I like him.

As for potential, I heard the same thing in 1977 about Robby Benson after One on One.

Maybe he will grow and maybe he will start selecting better scripts but this is what I don't likeeople want to compare him to being a Tom Cruise in the making.
Lebouf has been in tons of flicks already and and none of great quality. Transformers and Indy were gonna make a ton even if you or I played his role.

Look at what Tom Cruise did in his first 9 flicks:
Endless Love, Taps, The Outsiders, Losin It, Risky Business, All the Right Moves, Legend, Top Gun, The Color of Money.

Now look at Lebeouf's first 9 flicks from starting in '03 when turned 17:
Holes, Dumb and Dumberer, Charlies Angels 2, Battle of Shaker Heights, I Robot, Constantine, Greatest Game, Bobby, Disturbia.

Not quite in Tom Cruise's class.
Barely above mine.
