well i guess we will not see CANADA vs. RUSSIA in finals. If Canada beats Germany on tuesday the next opponent in quarterfinals will be RUSSIA.
If Czech rep. beats Latvia next opp. will be Finland.
USA will play Swiss/Belarus
Sweden will play Slovakia/Norway

My guess for semifinals: CZECH, SWEDEN, RUSSIA, USA

Finals: CZECH vs USA :SIB if they don't play each other in semifinals lol.
But no matter who wins or loses, there is lot of great hockey coming.

i had the same final four as well

So tough to go against Canada, but based on what they have shown so far and the extra game today I am not sure they can pull it off.

The only top-to-bottom solid team in that final four scenario would be Sweden imo. The USA is very thin in defenseman and will not be able to ride Miller for the duration of the tourney. The Czech's are an older team without a very talented (in context) 3rd and 4th line. Russia, as we have all seen, is prone to turnovers in their own end (though both Russian goalies have played great).

I think the Slovaks are very dangerous if Halak can keep it up. The Fins, though arguably the most cohesive team in the tourney, lack firepower (regardless of the 10 goals they racked up against cupcakes). The Canadians look like shit, let's call it as it is. People keep mentioning how Miller single-handedly stole the show... 90% of the shots were into his body. He still had to be in position, yes, but the Canadians are not sniping like Belarus did in the thrid period to embaress German goalie Griess. Luongo was the best choice all along imo so at least they got that right...and they still have the best (on paper) roster.

I've watched almost every game and this is what I've found. We will see for sure in a few days though, should be good!
