body mass index...i just read that the president`s is 23.7....nearing the threshhold of 25.0(which is where overweight begins)....


now how the hell is that possible?....the conclusion i draw from this is there is something seriously wrong either with bmi or the points at which alarm bells are set to go off....

there is no way i can even wrap my mind around calling the president borderline overweight...

/and please,no political poo slinging..

why does anyone even consider this garbage?...

I'm the same height and weight but 27% which avg close to 51 pounds of fat...

there has been a thread on here before where I was railing on the BMI I think. It is absolutely flawed and does not take into consideration body type or muscle mass. The upper limits of my weight should be 214 at 6'5". joke.

BMI assumes you haven't been in the gym at all. Doesn't take muscle into consideration.
