Has a stess reaction in throwing elbow with no accompanying ligament damage. He will skip his start this Friday vs. W&M. No big deal, but something to keep an eye on as there may be some nice fade opportunities down the line given that he gets plenty of line respect.

Thanks for the info bud. Though there may be some wagering potential, I hope Ranaudo heals as he is a favorite of mine.

His return has been pushed back another
week due to lingering discomfort. He is
feeling better, though. The injury is being
as labeled a stress reaction.

He threw without pain. It was discussed internally that he may be allowed to throw on a very limited pitch count sunday, but that is now off the table. They are taking it slow, and I am glad.

LSU would need him to make a run at another CWS title, but I don't think they have the arms to get it done even with him in there. Losing their top 3 recruits (2 pitchers) to the MLB hurt this team.
